Olan's thoughts for this strip:
Check it out - new strip is up! I think that the tentacle monster in the bottom right is my new hero.

Lyra tried some new things with the art this time; she's not totally happy with all of it (she was hoping there would be more of a dread "feel" from the grey and white panel), but from where I stand, the art is top notch, as usual.

We've had a lot of discussions about getting to a regular schedule, and I think that, for the time being, we're going to set our sights on one regular strip plus one short/filler per week. I wish that we could do two, but it's not realistic at this time. If we sneak out two in a given week, feel lucky. :)

In the meantime, make sure to "like" the Loaded Dice facebook page, if you haven't already, and for some stream of consciousness nonsense from me, follow Loaded Dice on twitter.

Script for this strip:
Steve (narrator): After defeating the barbarians, Faustus and Jhim stoke the fire, then return to the chapel to set up camp with the rest of the party.

Amy: "Okay, so the plan is to let the casters rest and regain spells..."

Ray: "And heal us!"

Amy: "... and heal the wounded. Then what?"

Tim: "Then, we deal with Steve's frozen monstrosity."

Steve: "I think that you should split up and look for him."
Brad: "I think that you should stay out of this."

Rich (off camera): "Seems he was worried about the furnace."
Ray (off camera): "I bet he comes back to it."

Amy (off camera): "Maybe, but the basement is less than an ideal place to fight. "

Steve: "But it would be amusing to see a stack of blue bodies blocking a doorway..."
Ray: "Seriously, dude. Be quiet!"
Steve: "Fine, be that way. I'll be over here devising creative new ways to inflict misery."

Rich: "It takes a special kind of sadist to be a good DM."

Steve: "Say, how do you guys feel about tentacle monsters?"

Rich: "See what I mean?"
