Family and Background:

Lea had no siblings, and her mother had only one sister. Lea's father, Collin Blackstone, was a member of Starfleet, who worked as Head of Security on the USS Clash, but was killed when his ship was attacked by an unknown vessel; Lea was six at the time. Lea's mother, Diana Blackstone, was a former medical professor for Harvard, and died in childbirth.
Lea was raised by her Aunt Elaine, who willingly took in her younger sister's only child and her cousin Ivari Ashen became more of a sister. Ivari's heart gave out when the two girls were almost 13, and Lea became withdrawn afterwards, leaving for Harvard at 18, in memory of her mother. She lost contact with her aunt after joining Starfleet Academy and only ever had one serious relationship: Cole Ramsen, who ended up meeting his true soulmate when the couple were in their 2nd year at Harvard. |

Personal Bio:

At 18, she was granted a partial-scholarship for Harvard and attended, out of respect for her mother. While there, she met Cole Ramsen and the two planned to one day marry, until Cole met his true love in their 2nd year. She passed with flying colors and was accepted into Starfleet, were she became trained as a medical officer. While there, she shared a room with Carmen Vernades, who shared the same dreams and goals. The two became close friends, and when they graduated, were both assigned to the USS Discovery.
Lea doesn't do well in crowds, and does only the barest minimum in teamwork activities. Because she focuses so much on work and personal needs, Carmen is really her only friend and she often comes off as a snob, or the standoffish type. |
