Family and Background:
|
Known to all as Venn, and only a select few by her given name, Venn speaks very little of her early and formative years, yet draws upon her experiences and background to formulate strategic, tageted approaches to her patient's needs.
As Venn's parents never married, she spent little time with her father, the great Maxim Romanov, an instructor of Advanced Strategic Theory at Starfleet Academy. Her only contact with him lay in relayed messages, and two-week long visits three times a year, when Maressa played inappropriate venues, such as Risa. These vists were difficult on both father and daughter, as both wished for different circumstances, and though there was much love, there were tense moments. Maxim taught at Starfleet Academy until his untimely death at the age of 51.
Life with Venn's mother, performance artist Maressa Constantine, was a chaotic and nomadic existence spent mostly in space, travelling from world to world with a troupe of actors and musicians and artisans. Though she longed for, and never achieved, a peraceful and normal relationship with her mother, this kind of life enabled Venn to become, at a young age, self sufficient and independant.

Personal Bio:
|
She took on as much schooling as she could find available to her, eventually completing initial coursework reuired for accetance to Starfleet Academy by age 16, at which point she left the chaos of Maressa's life to find one of her own. She moved into her fathers house where she remained after his death, and found work in a variety of short lived occupations, leaving one for another due to a restlessness within her heart, no doubt a byproduct of her early life.
As soon as she was of age, Venn applied for entrance at a small university, pursuing a variety of interests, before applying for, and gaining aceptance to, Starfleet Academy on full scholarship. though her performance in military applicatons was above average, she found herself drawn to more cerebral studies and graduated with a degree in psychology. Her first assignment was brief, only a year, before rassignment brought her here, and it is where she has stayed.
Venn's private life...has been mostly nonexistant. She remains unable to form lasting, committed relationships with members of the opposite sex. She is attracted to strong alpha male personalities that display a mix of arogance and creativity. She prefers to spend her time creating holoprograms for her patients designed to alow them a safe and open environment to explore their varied issues. Often she meets patients initialy for several visits in her office, before creating such programs, and engaging sessions there, when available.
Has recieved no commendations, or reprimands. She is rated an excellent marksman, excells in close combat, and likes to run swim as eercise. When not working on patient profiled programs, she engages in close combat training sims and spends a lot of her time swimming.
Guilty pleasures include occaisional indulgence in a theatrical holoprogram.
As a side note: Venn sleepwalks, so she locks her cabin from the inside until morning when she relays a password to the computer to verify her true wakefulness. Occainsionally she will forget thi whole procedure and has been found in corridors, once inengineering, and once in the captains ready room.
