PO3 Bachmann is a fairly recent addition to the Peregrine's crew, having only been aboard for around two months, give or take a day. Physically, he's of exceedingly average appearance - average height, average weight, average looks - mentally, however, the young lab tech is extremely sharp and knowledgeable. So much so, in fact, that some have often wondered why he's never applied for Officer Candidate Training and made more of his career than he has. The fact of it is, though, that, despite how adept he is at his job, Ryan is somewhat opinionated and narcissistic, leading him to be referred to as something of an ass both in professional and personal interactions.
