Physical Description:

Sari Uhnari has a chocolate colored skin tone, and appears almost human, but as with all Haliians, has a slight bulge and indentation above each eyebrow and a crevice between the brows, on the bridge of the nose. She is very slim and petite in form, with the athletic build of a runner. |

Family and Background:
|
Sari is the only child of Utaui and Sarang Uhnari who own their own restaurant on her homeworld of Halii. She was well supported by her family and excelled in school and attended the Advanced Schooling Program, concentrating on the Sciences. Upon graduation, she was encouraged to join Starfleet, but she had a cousin in the Academy on Earth. Sari talked to her other cousin, who was the sister of the one in the Academy, and she wasn't so sure the officer's life was for her. So, she decided to join Starfleet, but as an member of the Enlisted Ranks, where she could do a job in a Science lab, where she was hoping to expand her knowledge and see the Galaxy. |

Like all Haliians, Sari has minor telepathic abilities, which is limited to person to person empathy. A special crystal called a Canar, when held by an Haliian, had the potential to greatly increase their telepathic abilities and allow them to "bond" with others and share their thoughts.
When not on duty, Sari is either studying science or advanced lab techniques and procedures, or exercising which consists of a lot of running and cardio exercises.
She is a rather accomplished singer, and was often called upon to sing the Horath, a traditional song sung during the Batarael, a Haliian Holiday.
