He stands 1.7m tall and 55kg. His skin is a pale blue with white hair which he wears short and simple. His frame is strong and muscular which he maintains with a daily ritual of rigours exercises and training that has been drilled into him since he was a child. His natural demeanour is hardnosed and aggressive and his face seems to always be set in a hard edge ‘annoyed’ grimace. |

Both parents both live on Andoria and hold ranks within the Imperial Guard because of this Esel has a strong attachment to his family honour which he will defend quickly. Following in their footsteps Esel started his own training within the Imperial Guard from a very young and excelled there before transferring to Star Fleet and following his natural curiosity into the science fields. |

Esel join the Andorian Imperial Guard as a child so grew up within a well regimented a strict military regime, this has left him with little patience for those he considers ‘Time Wasters’ unfortunately this phrase can capture anyone from those unable to make quick and firm decisions, Poets and other ‘airy arts’, Overly social person and ‘Party animals’. Esel firmly believes that ever moment needs to be not only fulfilling and progressive to your own personal betterment and true to these beliefs when he off shift he can be found somewhere around the ship working out physically in the gym or mentally in the library reading about what ever takes his interest at the time.
His time in the Imperial Guard lead him to excel in ground combat, CQB and Dignitary protection and it was this last role that brought him in contact with Star Fleet when he was assigned as part of a protection detail during a high level visit to a Star Fleet Science Vessel as part of an formal information exchange.
During the visit Esel found his eyes and his mind wandering around the amazing possibilities the universe provided and the myriad of possibilities and secrets still to be discovered. Upon returning to Andoria, he put in motion his request to be transferred out of the Imperial Guard to be able to join Star Fleet, due to his impeccable service record his wish was granted as service within Star Fleet would only bring more honour to the young warrior and his family so in the year 2352 he set off from home to enlist with the Academy.
His four years at the academy was not as smooth as it is for most, while he excelled in his studies and poured himself into his research and work, it was hard for the sharp edged warrior to keep his cool and tongue within the civil and respectful environment of the Academy and many hot headed comments, and disagreements passed between himself, his peers and Instructors leading to slightly duller graduation report on who was an exceptional Scientist and had the potential to go on and become a first class officer.
His first assignment was to the science labs on Star Base 12, where he spent four impeccable years carrying research and discovery, whilst he enjoyed his time there he wanted something more.
Upon promotion to Lieutenant (JG) he was reassigned to Star Base 621, while he enjoyed the Star Base and the research he was assigned to conduct, this assignment did unfortunately bring into contact with a Vulcan Scientist named Perruk, and whilst they were both brilliant minds and a formidable force when their paths and minds where aligned when they came to a disagreement in how to proceed with research or an experiment exchanges would often be ‘heated’ verbal exchanges until a senior officer intervened and reprimanded them both for poor conduct becoming of Star Fleet Officers.
As the years passed the situation had not improved until one disastrous scientific brief a bad mannered and poorly worded remark, besmirching the honour of the house Ch’ronnoss was the match to the powder keg. Esel flew in a rage demanding blood and attacked Perruk. Witnesses of the event say it was short, savage and brutal and took a full security detail to contain, stun and transport them to the brig.
Days after being released from the brig he was discovered stalking the corridors of the Star Base with his Ushaan-Tor in hand, with the intention for confronting Perruk in ritual combat.
The tribunal did not look favourably on Esel his conduct most unbefitting that of a Star Fleet Officer, attacking a fellow scientist and carrying a weapon with the intention to cause harm. What followed was a long deliberation it was decided that after reviewing the evidence, his personal history and his Star Fleet record that he was acting in line with his cultural beliefs even though they are not aligned to Star Fleet doctrine.
His punishment was passed as no longer being promotable above Lieutenant (JG) and no future assignments to large science labs whether ground, space or ship based.
With his future hobbled he accepted his assignment to the USS Peregrine as Chief Science Officer knowing this will be as far as his career will take him. He now sets himself the duel tasks of unlocking the secrets of the universe and preparing his Junior Officers for the rigours of scientific life within Star Fleet.
