Cap'n Lou is lacking in time.
Yes, you saw the thread name right.
Due to legal fees, I've been short on cash recently, and because of recent events, I had to cut down my hours to part time at work. Now, I'm back up to full time, but I'm just not making enough money to make up what I lost in my savings account.
I'm taken a (very) temporary job as a freelance process server. I don't expect this to really last very long into the next semester, depending on my coursework (I'm only taking 9 hours this semester, so it might be managable). I'm not sure how the job is going to go - I've heard from some that's it's somewhat tedious and others that some very strange stuff can happen.
The point of all of this is that I'm not going to to have as much time as I used to - which means I can't take on any new games. I'm not sure what the fate of Rome will be at the moment, I'm just not sure how feasible it is for me to run another game. I am, however, still committed to the Embodiment. I'm sorry to everyone involved in Rome - I may not have the time for it.
I hope to keep up with my current games, however; but please excuse me if I can't post as often...

Hey gang
Everyone,
I know I've been lax to post, but RL has been kicking my ass.
I've managed to keep up with ST:OP, but I've let my two other games completely stagnate.
However, I have a 'weekend' coming up - I'm completely off from work for two days straight and I plan on posting in everything.
Sorry once again, expect to be on a better schedule when school starts.

Understandable...
... the RL monster is well known for rearing it's ugly head at the most inopportune times around here, isn't it?
Here's to you, Cap'n Lou. Best wishes for a return to 'normalcy' in the near future and all the happy, happy, joy, joy business that goes along with it.

Just when I thought I'd be posting today...
My cat has disappeared. He never came home last night, which is not normal in the slightest, and I fear he may have been run over...
I'm fairly distraught over this. I promised I'd get off my ass (or onto my ass, in the chair in front of the computer) and get my games back on track today, but I don't think I have it in me.
Hopefully he's alive and will show up soon, but I'm very out of it right now.
sorry, thanks for the understanding.

Here kitty, kitty!
Dude, that sucks... I know the anxiety that a missing pet can cause. My own cat had a habit of disappearing quite regularly but, he was born a 'barn cat' and that wasn't unusual... when he was gone for more than 2 days without checking in for food or a nap, though, I still got antsy about where he might have gotten to.
Anyway, I hope yours comes home soon and in good shape. Keeping out the good vibes for ya.

oh nooo
Capn' I'm sorry about your cat. I'm so paranoid over mine getting out I dream about it. I just don't know what I'd do if my babies went missing.
I will keep hope alive that she is ok and just checking out the hood.
