Hmm

Watchmen.

I'm waiting for the horrible disappointment that will be Origins: Wolverine, but surely not even Hollywood can mangle the Watchmen.

Right?

Right!?

Of course

Watchmen

As to the ending, I am not surprised. It was the weakest part of the story so I can see them changing it. Not to mention you have to dumb it down for the North American audience. Can you imagine if they kept the same ending for V for Vendetta? It would have never made it pass the test audiences.

This might sound strange

Watchmen

They explan wolf's past in number two. Evil bald dude experimented on him then Wolf escaped. Plus I have peeked into wacthmen's comic. Looks like something I would read.

Doulbe W

I'm excited to see how true to Wolverine: Origin they made the movie. That is pretty much my favourite Marvel graphic novel/mini-series (I actually bought the hard cover version). The art and writing was fantastic.

I never really got into the Watchmen. I'm sure I'll enjoy the movie, but I'm not really as engaged in the characters from the DC stream. Not to say they are awesome, but...

other ending?

Al! Do bestow upon us your eternal knowledge of comic books!

I didn't know V had a different ending, and I'm very anxious to hear what it was like.

<---- look... it's me being anxious.

haha

You can PM it to me, if you want. But indeed, you keep telling me about stuff I need to read, and I just got in two new Hellboy novels (not graphic, but proze). I love those. But it doesn't leave me much time for other books.

Eventually I'll get to Belgarion and V... I know I will!

Heh

Just downloaded and read the graphic novel this afternoon (after I remembered what a .cbr file was...useless that), better ending, but I found the lack of Hugo Weaving's voice a little sad.

DAMN YOU HOLLYWOOD, I AM NOW ADDICTED TO HUGO WEAVING!

Consequently

...that somewhat strongly pushes me toward Watchmen. I'll definately see the movie, though it's not quite as high on my priorities.

Also, if he opens the movie like he did the Oscars...actually I'd probably go see that really fast.

hmm

I have to admit I wasn't really anxious for either one. I saw Watchmen this weekend and I probably will see Wolverine as well.

Of course, Wolverine has Deadpool in it so I should get excited soon enough
