Recruitment for 3.5 Eberron Game

Heya, I'm looking to Dm an Eberron game, 3.5 edition. Looking for 3-4 players, who are going to be dedicated to this game. I don't want people who will be leaving after a while or anything of the sort. I'll get more information on the game as interest peaks, but for a quick synopsis of character it will go like this:

32 point buy for stats

will be able to use all core books, and any of the complete series along with PHB II and any eberron source book.

All standard races plus orc & Goblinoids. If you don't know in Eberron these races are much more tolerated than other settings, as they once ruled the lands before the age of man.

Lvl starting at 2.

Just a quick word on the game, it will be starting out with a militaristic background, so whatever character you make they will have been involved in the last war.

also post quality. I will require that you have correct spelling and that you submit at least a paragraph, and that's for combat posts. I'm not asking for novels, but at least some sort of effort put into the posts.

Cool, two down and one to go. If you need information on back story I'll try to get it to you either by linking some sources or typing it my self.

I'd be interested, depends on when the game starts though.

I can work on a character a bit for the wile but can't really play until after my exams, so until Monday week.

(Oh, and I did once have them but now they are gone, I need new ecoppies of the Eberron books.)

Ok, well I was going to start it once I had all the character sheets in and everything was ready. If you guys need any more information on how to generate these characters, please ask.

About the characters, I was thinking that you guys were maybe part of some mercenary thing because you were soldiers after the war or something, or if you want to come up with your own military background thats great too. You will be starting in a breland Fort, just keep that in mind. If you want to know it is Sterngate, a fort on the eastern side of Breland that borders Darguun. Also, for races, all goblinoids and orcs are also allowed, i just dont want bugbears. they start with three lvls of humanoid and they will be a little over powered to start at lvl 2 compared with the rest of the group.

books

Still looking for the books, but if we are all going to have come from the same mercenary band then we'll need to work together to build characters that will complement each other.

I'll be on chat come the morning (GMT) and some of tonight, if anyone else in this game comes on then we could start brainstorming a well oiled killing machine.

well you dont need to be in the same mercenary band it was just an idea. just as long as all of you have a good reason to be in the fort, thats all. i just figured having a military background would be easiest, but if you can come up with something that works just as well please put your ideas forward =]

I think it would be fun to start a game with players designed to work well together.

Whatever other people want to do is fine.

So...

Eberron is one of the few settings I haven't played... though I would be willing to give it a try. I tend to lean towards mage or rogue characters. Grugg, did you officially decide on a wizard? What other classes do we have? (This is assuming there is still an opening of course.)

I'm officially claiming wizard.

I've had this build in my head for months without a game to try it in. <_<
