High School Troubles, Stress, and Woe is Me!
As most of you know, I'm now a freshman, and I'm gonna have a crazy hectic schedule. I know, I know, I've already warned you, but today is ACTUALLY hit me for the first time and I'm on a sudden stress overload. I'd appreciate some help on how to deal with high school stress and still have a life =)
On to the sad news.
I'm now parcitipating in four games, and that's stretching my limits. Please respect my small frame of Inn time and don't jump all over me, I'd really appreciate some breathing room!

some thoughts
I dealt with stress in high school pretty easily. A few ideas...make sure you don't forget any work at school. This can really stress you out. get homework done as soon as you get home, or after any afterschool activities I would always get my work done as soon as I could, that way I could devote the rest of the evening to games, nap, fishing, whatever came up. That helped alot. Eat healthy and make sure you eat breakfast skipping breakfast alwaays stressed me out because I was thinking too much about when lunch was. Don't sweat the little things This one is pretty self explanitory and stands very true. Worry about what is important. Talk to your parents!! If anyone can help you through stress about school it is your parents. They can help finish those last minute projects, get you past that pesky math problem you've been stuck on, and most importantly give you a hug when you feel down.
Hopefully some of what I said helps. It has been a while since I was in school but I still remember it.
And with the games here at the inn. Take your time. You are a good player and I am sure everyone enjoys your posts. We all understand that real life comes first though.

Dakarta hit it spot on.....
The only things that I would add to Dakarta's advice is to READ everything. Your lectures are meant to add to the material in the text, so read, read, read.
Now on the social side. Although the people around you at school seem the be the whole world, remember 99% of them will be out of your life forever after graduation. Don't let them rule you life! People that can't excel on their own will down grade or bully others to make themselve feel important. Trust those that prove to be worthy of your trust. They won't ask you to do thinks you know are risky. You know right from wrong by now so do I need to go there?
Have fun, but be wise. When in doubt, ask your parents! They have your back. And when you do start to feel a little down, know there's an Old Geezer Werebear out there rooting for you.

Realy? Then I am happy. I like to make people feel happy. When Hazel gets back on she can sympathize with the fear of high school. She spams my phone every day... Ill tell you what I tell her " Itll be fine! Worry to much and youll make yourself sick..."

I only wish I could.....
It would be sooooooooooooooooo nice to be able to go back to Freshman year. Life was sooooooooooo much simpler. I only wish I would have taken my own advice. Now after the fact I see how grades would have been a snap if I'd just read the books. And in college too.
But was back when there was much less history.(1966)

Oh, yeah....
...I remember being a freshman... vaguely... from a distance.
Definitely a stressful time in the life of a youngster... *nods*
Y'know what's good for stress, though?
Pot pies! Chicken, especially... and fudge covered oreos... and Thundercats! *nods*
I developed a problem with those, though... so I had to switch to coffee... and now you get posts like this!
In all seriousness, though, ladies; it might seem like your freshman year is gonna be a big ordeal and lots of stress but, I promise, once you get to be as old and grizzled as me and Ody and the rest of us geezers around here, you'll look back and go; "Wow! That really wasn't too bad!"
Until then, though, you've always got us wacky Innmates hereabouts to support ya. Just holler and we'll come runnin'!

Totally agree. It is a big adjustment though. Moving from middle to high school takes some time to get used to.
I was, okay still am, big on lists and planners and such, color coding everything. Anything to help keep organized. It is easy to get overwhelmed when you don't know what is coming up, but if you have it all somewhere (written down, brains get too scattered to be reliable I've found) that you can go to and prepare for stuff it is much easier.
Work on your grades and figuring out how to be responsible for everything going on... all skills you will be glad you picked up in HS and didn't wait until you really grew up to figure out (although to be honest you never really feel like you've grown up and have everything figured out).
Good luck though hon and of course we all understand that RL comes before games. Do what you can around here and we will still luv you.
M.
