I found this site when i was goggling 'Name Generator' so I joined up and started to look around til I don't know what else to do

I love to RP but I never got the chance to do so (Closest thing: Heroscape). I'm just wondering to myself: how does one go about RPing? how should I fix my stats? and other questions like this....

The easiest way to find your way into an RP is to cruise the Recruitment Forums... Most folks that are looking for players (or players looking for game, even) will drop a post or several there. Our dear Flirty (cdnflirt) has just recently fired up a new game, in fact... Check out "Animal Safari" in the recruitment threads, take a peek at "Safari Zone" in the Rules Based forum, and get a look at the "Safari Zone Q&A" thread she's posted in the QA forums... If it looks like something that interests you, post in the recruitment to express your interest or send cdnflirt a PM (she's a sweetheart, don't be skeered).

As far as fixing stats and such, that all depends on the character(s) you may take on in any of the games you may join, I suppose... but, hey, if there's anything specific I can assist with, just let me know... I do more around here than just moisten faces...

Funnily enough, that's exactly how I found this site!

Best thing to do to find out how to RP-- read some of the threads in the forums. We have some great roleplayers here, and looking at the different games we have going on will give you a good idea how its done.

Oh frabjous day! You've found your new digital home! Please accept some lovely wildflowers to brighten a gray Winter's day and a stein of spiced mead to take the chill from your bones. Oh, and a face towel--keep it handy.

We have many, many opportunities for play-by-post RP here at the Inn. We tried using battle maps and miniatures once, but with little success. Every DM runs their game a little differently, so there is no single pat answer to your questions above. Any other questions or if you want the silver piece tour of the place, I'm just a PM away.

Let me be another of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.
So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here.
And though this is the greeting I post to all newcomers do not feel that I am not glad to see a new person come to our home, far from it. Its just easier and quicker this way as we do get a lot of newcomers at times. So then If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.
