Well Met and Greetz, brave adventurer! My, what a glorious Spring day you've chosen to visit us at RDI! Our resident barkeep, Odyson, just brought up a keg of some new concoction he calls Slippery Spring Ale and if you feel courageous enough, your first stein is on me. Oh, and have a fluffy face towel *wink-wink* it should come in handy soon enough.

Let me be the first of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.
So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here.
And though this is the greeting I post to all newcomers do not feel that I am not glad to see a new person come to our home, far from it. Its just easier and quicker this way as we do get a lot of newcomers at times. So then If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.
Also you said your brother directed you here may I ask who he might be??

And finally here’s a towel, always keep it handy as Eol sometimes forgets who he has licked and then licks again .

As for gear I carry very little, relying on my Axe, Smoking pipe, bedroll, and Journal. Finally as for the Ale goes, I am not a big drinking fan, but if you have anything to smoke I am totally down for that.

I like Root Beer, but I prefer a nice Tea or some coffee. IF and I mean if I ever drink, I only drink at least one or two mugs. I never exceed that because well... I can't hold my liquor that well, that's why I prefer to smoke (But never cigarettes... those are disgusting and are bad for you ) I am finding a little difficult to navigate some portions of the site, but I am figuring it out slowly.
