... don't a lot of Elf cards give bonuses based on number of elves? ^^

In fact, Immaculate Magistrate puts X +1/+1 counters on target creature for each Elf you have, and Joraga Warcaller gives all other Elves +1/+1 for each +1/+1 counter on it. 'Tis the sickness!
