Pirates 4: What did you think.

Well I went to see Pirates 4 today and I have to say out of all of them this one to me was the best. The first three to me felt rushed somehow as if they were trying to pack so much stuff into the movie it got lost, well not this one. It had a believable storyline, the hunt for the fountain of youth, and Captain Jack though his still wacky self was not over wacky if that makes sense. Plus he actually showed some real feelings in this one, and not to spoil it hopefully, said the love word about something other then an item . So if your in the mood for a good fun time go see it and tell us here what ya thought but please no spoilers.

My score b-

hmmm

I will have to go see it. I want to see Thor too but weather and what not has put that off. I had heard the reviews were bad for the movie so had intended to just wait for the dvd. Maybe I will check it out in theater after all.

oops

Saw P4 on the weekend. Ahh....okay.

Better than 3 or 4. Not close to as good as the first. Overall the film was okay, there is plenty of action, some fun moment and it is a complete movie.

The editing is sloppy, the lighting is terrible (shot 90% in dark) and Cap't Jack is just not Jack enough. P. Cruz is wasted in this film as is Ian McShane. The whole film gave me a straight to DVD feeling, which a lot of disney sequels do.

No reason at all for the movie to be in 3d. A few sword shots but that is all.

...

Reviews I've read suggest that the film looks much better in 2D, that the post production made it much darker in 3D.

By and large, I hate 3D for movies.

agreed

3d movies just leave me dizzy with a headache. I do not care for them at all.

Does anyone know if there was a teaser clip at the end of P4? I couldn;t wait for the credits (large pop).

B+

I saw it in IMAX 3D and thought the movie was pretty good overall. Storyline was interesting.

Pirates 4

Jack Sparrow and Barbossa embark on a quest to find the elusive fountain of youth, only to discover that Blackbeard and his daughter are after it too.
