Hey guys,

I'm not sure how much motivation I'll have to participate in the current games I belong to for the next long while. It is a high possibility that my boyfriend goes to jail for missing one of his meetings while on probation. If he goes to jail, I will fade back into my hibernation state for a long while...my only concern will be writing to him, every day.

I may check in occasionally since you guys are family, but I have a feeling I will be negative and no fun at all. If he does get locked up he could be gone for 3 years, and that would be horrible, but I will be waiting for him when he gets out.

I will update you all with news when I know for sure what's happening...he has to call his lawyer around 5pm CMT to find out the verdict. Please keep your fingers crossed for both of us. I will need all the prayers and support you could imagine to get through this if things continue to remain negative where luck is concerned.

Yeah, well I appreciate the effort, but I doubt I could get there in time to see him before he gets locked up (if he does) It would be one of those...well here's the verdict you have an hour to be at the jail house...

I already considered flying out there to see him. I may yet do that, it all depends on what the answer is...I WILL fly down there, I just don't know when. I have to pay off my credit cards to be able to stay in a hotel or something. I just really don't know what to do...I pray that things work out. I feel so sick to my stomach right now. Since I met him, I'd had the ability to sense when he's not in a good mood...it's like a strange connection he and i share...and he's obviously not in a good mood...we are both worried about what will happen. We hope his good behaviour will keep him out. He gets his cell phone turned back on within the week...so I could be his personal alarm if need be.

Tomorrow is Tuesday, and that's when he goes to court to find out if he has to do time or not. The judge loves him, the DA hates him...so please pray extra hard, and send extra happy vibes our way that we get good news. He and I have already been dating for 3 months, and I'm dying to see him. If he doesn't get locked up, I'll see him probably next month sometime...if he does...it will be a long time before I see him.

Would it be considered a felony to kill the court systems? The court thing was postponed yet AGAIN...and no idea when they will reschedule it for...so that means I`ll continue to worry. I`ll keep you guys updated...though not sure how much I can handle of this stress...still losing weight that I don`t need to lose no matter how much I eat.

The good you can take out of that whole thing, though, is that if they're postponing the thing, yet again, that kind of makes it seem that they're not in an awful big hurry to see him back behind bars, right? Plus, the longer things get delayed, the more time he's got to "be a good boy" and make himself all shiny, sparkly, and presentable when he does finally have to step in front of the judge... *shrugs*

Make the best of a bad situation... silver lining... sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows... yaddah, yaddah, yaddah. It's better than making yourself sick over it, I promise.

Yes and no. He's already being an ideal candidate. He goes to meetings everyday...yet he' only scheduled to attend 3 a week...he goes 6 or 7 days a week...sometimes twice in a day. He always passes his colour test... his probation is paid off. I wish they would just give the damn verdict so I can let my boss know what's going on.

If he goes to jail, I am allowed to go down and spend a week with him before he gets locked up...but I'd much rather him not get locked up. I only have 4 vacation days left *sighs* I only have until Sept 30th to use them up, so the earlier I find out the better...I may use them next week or week after to go to the big party here...I'd rather just not use them at all. I just want this damn court crap to be over! It's stressing both of us out, we are both worried about it, cause it keeps getting postponed. *sighs*

Truth is, the situation is pretty much out of your hands. The beautiful part about your boyfriend and your story is that you get to see a glimpse of the full reality, that a good part of life is out of our hands.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't make plans and such, but lots of plans change. So, if I were you, and I had four days of vacation time, and the financial means to travel, and my boyfriend stood a good possibility of going to jail for 3+ years... I'd go visit him.

If you don't have the financial means to travel... well, then I guess you don't need to worry about whether or not to spend your 4 days off with your boyfriend.

I'm just saying, be present in the moment, for this moment is most certainly passing. Jail time, not jail time... who can say with certainity about what is to come? So why worry about it.

This morning Wayne had attended court and after a couple of weeks worth of being stressed out, the verdict has finally arrived.

The verdict is:.....

He is still a free(ish) man!

He won't have to go to jail for his infraction, they gave him a slap on the wrist, so looks like he will still finish probation around the end of September if all goes well

Well I could have a party at my condo! We have a party room there! It would be loads of fun, but would take a lot of planning to figure out when the majority of us could plan to be here for the party!
