Loaded Dice Filler: Why *Is* He so Surprised?

Another Filler comic is up, thanks to Brittany!

Thanks a million to our intrepid artist for keeping us rolling while I continue to suck.

Ahhh...

...if that doesn't bring back memories, eh?

"Can I be a half-dragon, half-celestial, with a photographic memory and the ability to mount vulcan cannons on my shoulders that I can fire mentally whilst I play the harpsichord so beautifully that it makes my enemies dance uncontrollably?"

Yay for fluff-n-stuff! *claps*

gunblades

It is funny because MMV and I were just talking about gun blades the other day. She wanted me to do a Mythbreaker on them.

Didn't mention ducks though.

I know! I know!

In the final fantasy games, after a certain level you can get a mount. Only the mounts in the games look like overgrown ducks. Only they act like they are major parts of the game and if I remember correctly will attack monster for you.

actually....

the "ducks" in Final Fantasy are chocobos...

and the duck referred to in the strip, is Donald Duck from the Kingdom Hearts series... he acted as the primary magic user.

Either one works.

I have played Kingdom hearts. Still can't find a good Final Fantasy game for the WII. (Would love suggestions)

Still whichever game your looking at, it is an awesome comic. Made me laugh really hard.

Wii

Final Fantasy Crystal Breakers is the only one I've tried that was mildly entertaining.

But yes, playstation still holds the best FF games.

FF12 for xbox 360 is alright I'm sure it's fine on the ps3 as well, I just found it way too easy.

feh

12 was also on the ps2.... i couldnt stand that game... the main character's voice grated my ears, but beyond that... idk... a character who was, in my opinion, more whiny than Tidus and more emo than Squall? With less reason for either?

Which is sad, because I kind of enjoyed the new battle system... still prefer the old ones, but its nice to see them experiment.

I think they meant ff13

Cause that was the only one one both ps3 and xbox360.

As for 12, I did enjoy the battle system, but I found turn based easier on my brain. Not that I use that in the dragon age I'm constantly playing, but whatevs.

Hmm...maybe I should do a filler based on dragon age....

LOL

Oh, that twitchy hyperactive Ray! Instead of a gunblade, why not a flamethrower powered by a captive Fire Elemental?

Thanks for these quick-and-dirty filler strips, Jing! It's kind of like seeing the LD gang in the between-strips action. You stay very true to the characters' mannerisms and idiosyncrasies in these.

That's what I was going for!

Thanks, Pit, I'm glad you approve!

And don't say flamethrower, he'll ask for that next and Steve will just throw dice at him. xD
