Curious...
How Christian themed is it, and what might the game be about? If you could post more info, it would probably get more responses for or against.

well...
your character struggles with a sin-gluttony, liar among others, as well, a fear. you could be afraid of horses or crowds, water and others. You also have one choice of alignment-good, and one God- God, this is before 7 B.C. so Jesus would not be born yet. there could also be racial disagreements like understanding each other or historical grudges depending on how you play them. it is set more around Asia and Europe, as well Africa, so things will be interesting if it goes through. there are no races just different heights and the classes have chosen starting weapons and equipment

Ummmm
If Jesus isn't born, how can it be Christian based?

true
the focus is God, Jesus is the instrument and fulfillment of promises told by isaiah, ezekial and others among them. It is more a pre-christian game. Imagine a world where God is real but he is not speaking to people save a select few who may be the sons or daughters of the prophets.

This is just me but.....
Id rather it be set in one of the more interesting times of the Bible personally. For example, sometime during David's life in the war with the Philistines, or in the time of King Nebakanezer.

Ok gotta ask
No insult intended Takely but how old are you anyway?? This is a pretty heavy topic for a game idea and I'm as the title says, curious about your age.

A Warning
Setting up such a game with such religous overtones is risky as not everyone here at the Inn I'm sure worships the same as you.
Now I'm not saying don't create and run the game just be aware in this type of community with people from all over the world coming and going it could be real easy to upset someone's belief's and cause unwanted drama.
Best thing I can tell you is as Gboy said, outline exactly what you plan to do with this game and just how deep you plan to go into Christianity and the Bible, then submit it to Olan for his approval.

I shall throw this out there, to the game...
While I love delving in to ideas and topics such as this, and a game such as this as well I think would be quite intriguing if executed correctly, I don't necessarily subscribe to the christian/roman catholic viewpoint on religion. I'll role-play it for sure, but any game, debate, or topic that has religious undertones must always be run with a grain of salt, and should be planned out very well as to how deep it goes. I think that there is great campaign potential basing something in the dark ages, but in order to evoke religious undertones, though it adds a great depth to the gameplay, could be hazardous.
This, of course, is my 2 cents.

your right
but I should clarify some things about the game.
I will have to throw in some other religions like hindu islam and buhddism maybe zoroastrinism. the best possible time to throw the character in would be during the reign of solomon. though wise, he was very, very, very messed up. And the alignment i will have to clarify as well. there are two, good and evil. you can guess what that implies from the nature of the game itself. as well a god clarity as well. If following God, thats obvious. hindu-choose from 330 million gods, muslim-don't know how many if any. buddhist-none, zoroastrinism-something starting with zoro.
You see how it gets complicated.
you will constantly be assaulted by different ideas.

Well...
... I'm unlikely to play (be it this game or any others ^^) but I'll be most definitely lurking.
I've had a read of the rulebooks and in the flavour text I'm not sure I like what I see, but hey, we'll see
