Appearance: Olson Macdonald stands at 5'10 147lbs. At 35, the wasteland life has begun taking it's toll on the travelled man, with grey already settling into his shoulder length dusty brown hair. Olson typically sports an old combat-trenchcoat, enbroidered with both the Followers of the Apocalypse Crest as well as the Universal "Medic" symbol. With pistol at his side, Rifle slung over his shoulder and medicinal supplies in his attache /backpack Olson strikes the appearance of a man not very approachable, by his constant scouting eyes behind his thin, rounded edge rectangular glasses.

Backstory: Once a proud guard of the Followers of the Apocalypse, Olson, his wife Elsa, and their daughter Faith travelled the Wastes spreading faith and confidence to the downtrodden, while trying to make a difference in the world they had been chosen to live in. If Elsa was sunshine, Olson was her night sky, if Faith was a breath of fresh air, her father was the chill that ran down your spine. Always a cynic, Olson's life surrounded protecting his wife and daughter, who by coincidence, were none other than a pair of refugees held captive by some raider's Olson had freed one day serving as a hired caravan guard for some extra caps. Elsa had 'offered' herself to Olson as a form of repayment, and Olson was not so chase or pious as to turn down the opportunity. With Olson's commission at an end, he had returned with Elsa and Faith to the Old Mormon fort in Freeside, where the proximity to so many of Nicole's "followers" had a profound, if subtle effect on the man.

When the NCR later developed their own OSI however, and ties towards the FoA were cut following news of Ceasar's former affiliation with them, the NCR sent reclaimators to acquire all 'their' investments, technology, and knowledge housed in the Old Fort. Olson had been out on assignment, escorting a group of followers to New Vegas while the 'reclaimation' took place. The Followers resisted the oppresive hand of the NCR, but many were scholars and researchers, not trained combatants and the Fort was quickly overrun. Only a handful of casualties resulted from the takeover, amongst which were Elsa and Faith, victims of a secondary explosion from a gas main after an errant grenade meant to 'scare the occupants into submission' resulted in a much bigger 'boom' than anticipated.

When Olson returned 'home' to find what had befallen his wife and daughter. The 'humanitarian' side of the Medic/ gunslinger was pushed even farther into the recesses of his mind, the creed of Nicole became a little distorted, as anger suppressed reason, and his need to vindicate the murder of his loved ones set him back on the road once more. No longer would "Might equal Right" to Olson, the time for words had passed. Now, in this harsh reality of life, actions needed to be made.

Ultimately, Olson is a crotchety Follower. Set in his ways, he's stubborn as a mule, often crass and abrasive, but has his heart in the right place. Wanting to rid the wasteland of those who seek to keep it a desolate uncivilized cesspool and bring enlightenment and knowledge to those who want to make a change is just up Olson's alley.. but he'd much rather leave the jibber-jabber to someone else, and instead silence any opposition who would quell the tied of his cause. Olson has a penchant for talking to his prized weapon "Elsa" a rifle named after his late wife.

Appearance: Graced with a lean face and frame Markas' body is in peak condition from the rigours of active service (which, as far as he's concerned, he's still on). His black hair has grown out but only reaches halfway down his neck. Two hard, deep blue, eyes stare out from his thin face which is usually kept clean shaven.

Backstory: Shot in the arm by a supermutant and left to recover in a medical bay, shortly before having the bases' turrets turn on him; Private Markas' last few days in the Capital Wasteland certainly wasn't the time of his life. Escaping Raven's Rock with his Tesla Armor and the first weapon he found - his Glock 86 Plasma Defender, he escaped the base filled with hostile turrets to make his escape within one of the remaining Vertibirds alongside its pilot and his lieutenant.

Seeing the way the wind was blowing, Markas' lieutenant refused to return to the Enclave's Mobile Base Crawler as a backup center of operations, seeing no reason why it should be much safer. Instead, he threatened the pilot, instead taking them southwest, hoping to reach the Enclave base at Navarro, ignorant of its fate. Scavenging, looting and stealing the supplies they needed, the trio managed to keep their vertibird woring across the majority of the Wasteland.

Until their trek came to an end over Legion territory, east of the Colorado. Not that long before the Second Battle for Hoover Dam, they were shot down. More remarkable that the Legion managed to have the firepower to blow a hole in the side of a Vertibird, is that Markas survived when his lieutenant pushed him out to clear the hole in the hull for himself to jump as the gunship went down.

The pilot died in the crash, the lieutenant died in his escape, his armor unable to prevent fatal damage to his spine from the fall. Markas, however, had the fortune to land away from any Legion patrols, and though his suit was damaged beyond repair, he managed to free an arm from his wrecked suit and free the rest of his body slowly, cutting himself free with his Enclave-issue trench knife.

Leaving most of his possessions behind, he miraculously made it into the Mojave alive, making his first ever attempt to fit into somewhere outside of the Enclave. Fortunately, his technical skills exceeded that of what most savage wastelanders could cook up, and he made a certain living by repairing and scavenging, while avoiding the notice of the NCR.

The Second Battle for Hoover Dam changed things, though. He heard of the 'Black Devils' that had returned to insure the Legion's Defeat, and the Courier that fought with them. He has also since learned of the destruction of the Enclave at Navarro, but he doesn't seem willing to give up on the Enclave, at least not entirely, and the Remnants he heard of only proves how much power they still have.

Appearance: Gus is an average height around 5'10 and seems to be in his late thirties, early forties, and has an all around slim build (thanks to living in the wastes and not so readily available food). Short sandy blonde hair and a seemingly almost dirty complection that matches his caucasion skin tone, which is marred with random scars on his arms an legs, some minor, the largest marring the entirety of the back of his left hand into a twisted knot. He normally wears over-alls, big work boots, white under shirt and when it gets cold an out of place black leather jacket.

Backstory: When Gus was a child, his family owned several wagons and brahmin that caravaned between the Freeside area and California. They would stay for a few weeks trading and relaxing in relative safety, then make the trek back across the wastes, hired help always at the ready to guard against attacks.

When Gus turned 25, the caravan business was passed down to him and he soon took over a lucrative but dangerous profession. For five years he earned money, bartered and found life generally successful. On his way back from a successful haul in Freeside, he was well into the wastes when Great Khans attacked, and over whelmed the caravan. In a lightning raid, they destroyed everything and looted what they could, killing the guards and leaving Gus to die in a burning husk of one of his wagons.

He made it out though and wandered back as far as he could to Freeside with whatever gear he could collect. Two days later he found himself back and suddenly realized he was done for. No money, protection, home, or family he needed to do something or he would die.

His many ventures into the wastes had taught him well the skills he would need in the life he decided he would lead after talking to a friend named Rogers at the local bar he frequented. Rogers was a 'Prospector', and was boasting about finding a cave that some poor souls had died in, but left behind all their supplies. This gave him a great amount to sell and now his pockets were lined with caps, and Gus decided that everything he had was all he needed to lead this life too.

FIve years later, and Gus has found himself a successful Prospector through out the Freeside area, selling most of his wares to Mick & Ralphs, but making sure to sell whatever extra medical supplies he finds to the Followers of the Apocalypse.

Recently, Gus got lucky and made a large amount of caps on a good haul. After selling most of it to Mick & Ralphs, he settled down and is staying in Freeside for a few days before heading back out into the wastes.

Appearance: At 6’9” and near 300lbs of well-toned wastelander, Botolf generally towers over everything he encounters save mutants. His deep tan skin is covered in an assortment of tribal tattoos, and his enormous frame is barely contained within the confines of his dark leather armour. His facial features are wholly concealed within a bright red luchadore mask, which itself is highlighted with bright gold trim and similarly coloured jagged embellishments across the face. His hair, jutting out through a wide slit from the top to the rear of his mask, is styled into a mid-sized solid black mohawk.

Backstory: A tribal from the Proud Bear tribe living on the outskirts of the Mojave, Botolf, while decidedly not the wisest of his people, had near always been the strongest. From an early age his adeptness with grappling and fist fighting had him amongst his tribes greatest warriors, and his early years were largely spent defending his people, both through combating the evils of the wasteland and foraging to aid their survival in what remained of civilization.

Known affectionately as “Bo” to his friends and “Big Dumb Botolf” to those jealous of his size and power, Botolf’s life, while not easy, was one that pleased him immensely. His tribe had a scattered collection of remnants of the old world as its most treasured possessions, and though his reading ability was scarcely greater than a more civilized child’s, Botolf delighted himself by “reading” whatever unspoiled books he could find, mainly by looking at the pictures. When the time came for his ceremonial tribal “naming” he took that of his favorite novel’s character, one he’d found in a cartoonish children’s book, and became known throughout his tribal lands as “The Flying Elephant”.

Near Botolf’s thirtieth birthday, disaster befell the Proud Bear tribe. While Botolf was scavenging herbs and food in the surrounding area with only a few of his tribemates, a Legion raidforce discovered and attacked the tribe’s settlement, killing the majority and taking the rest as slaves. Botolf and fellows returned to the burning wreck of their lives to find their world changed forever. Taking the only unspoiled reminders of his tribe he could find, his favourite book and a red leather mask he had always admired, Botolf and the few survivors departed in their separate ways, vowing to avenge their tribe and ensure that such a fate never again befell any other free people.

Since then, Botolf has wandered the wastes, seeking the fame and glory that results from defending those that cannot defend themselves.
