Noob Intro : )
Hello all!
My character name is Mercury, real name is Thomas. I am 29, married with two children (4 and 2). Currently unemployed (trying to get into any kind of position in criminal justice) and nursing a broken ankle. So, I have some time and decided to look into the RPG world especially DnD. I had played the game ALOT in the past but lost touch with fellow gamers years ago. I realized how much I miss the DnD world so I thought I would join this community : )
I'm a very freindly, non-judging individual who likes to know as many people as possible mainly because my interests stetch into just about everything! I'm looking for games, fun and discussion hehe. As for my character, Mercury is just starting out in the world, discovering the hidden arcane knowledge of the world of sorcery ... looking forward to building more to that through time.
Anyway, sorry for the long winded babble and I look forward to meeting you all!
"I raise a pint to friends of new, in hopes that time will bring them through!"

Welcome to our Home
Let me be the first of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.
The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.
So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here.
And though this is the greeting I post to all newcomers do not feel that I am not glad to see a new person come to our home, far from it. Its just easier and quicker this way as we do get a lot of newcomers at times. So then If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.
Also here’s a towel, always keep it handy as Eol likes to lick newcomers and he sometimes forgets who he has licked and then licks them again.

Yo
Hey there, welcome to the Inn.
We hope you'll have a pleasant stay. The bar is always open, and any complaints about rooms shall be reviewed and eaten by Grugg.
Anyway, make sure to check out the recruitment area if you're ready to face a game.

"Cheers.............."
Hello......... Thought I'd pop in here and add the Ody welcome.
A realy good place to start here is “Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies.”. That should help you figure out how to navigate the halls of the Inn.
To meet folk in real time pop into the DragonChat where I act as current resident bar tender. We offer our very own "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh", the stale pale ale with the foam on the bottom.
Just grab a mug off the mantel and draw a cold frosty one.
My assistant Igor is usually lurking around if I'm not there.
He never says anything, must have something to with having his tongue cut out by his last boss, that nasty bar tender over at the Orc Bar & Grill.
I'll have him put out a plate of "Lady Fingers" in your honor.
Reminds me we need to have another "Ladies Night" and restock.
Anyway the Posting Games are great place to get to know folks and of course the DragonChat is our favorite lounge.
So lurk or play, welcome to the Inn!

heyo
im Riaucard, i pretty much dabble in a bit of everything myself and i can kinda get a bit crazy (specially in those freeform games) ive pretty much placed myself across the way from whereever the inn is in audalis and have started adding a brewery to my house/blacksmith/apocathy/generalstore/bakery/slash/restraunt of a building, so maybe the inn will get to extend its menu for beers ales and wines in a bit (but no grogg, because were a respectible inn).
and here have another towel, can never have too many towels

There is NO better way to get to know the Eol than...
...to be "officially welcomed" with one of these...

Mmmmmm... quicksilvery!
Welcome aboard, Mercury! Nice to see that you've jumped right in there and found your way into a game or three already! Here's hoping that it becomes something of a habit for you, yes? *wink*
