DND Trivia Game
I suddenly realised this game has not been restarted since the old inn went away. So, here it is!
It works as follows: You post a question that has to be fantasy or dnd related. Once somebody gives the right answer they earn the right to post the next question.
Let's start with an easy one:
My question is: In "The Hobbit" the group stays the night in the home of a man, who turns into a bear from time to time. What is his name?

Oh yeah!
Good idea, Almerin!
If I remember correctly (and i may not, since I haven't actually read the Hobbit in years ) the fellows name was Beorn (sp?).
Assuming that's the correct answer, of course, the next question is this (continuing with a theme):
Gimli from the LotR Trilogy is the son of one of the dwarves that accompanies Bilbo in The Hobbit... Which dwarf was Gimli's father?

He was son of...Glorn...Gloin...Loins...
Gloin, it was Gloin.
Changing theme entirely...
If a level 15 barbarian has the two-weapon and improved two weapon fighting feats (and no other relevant ones), and two weapons with his off hand weapon having the speed enchantment, how many attacks does he get if he move 15ft to attack an orc armed with a greataxe if the orc was aware of the attack but will be flanked by this move?
HA!

just
one attack actually. IF I'm correct. Since after a move action that's longer than a 5 foot step, you can only make 1 melee attack. Am I right? Or is there some bonus that I don't know about?
edit: I'll assume I'm right, to continue this game.
new question: In the Ravenloft campaign setting, who was the second darklord to be pulled in the demiplane of dread? The first one, of course, being Strahd himself.

For me...just a little
...read a few bits and pieces regarding Ravenloft but have no idea about the answer to that one.
I'm sure that someone around here knows the answer, though. Anyone?

Hm. I believe that Azalin was from the Forgotten Realms, which means that the correct answer would be Lord Soth...

I Think I know
That would be a Chromatic Dragon or Tiamat herself.
If correct here's my question...
In the movie Conan the Barbarian who played the Female Warrior/Thief that he falls in love with and then she dies from a snake arrow fired by James Earl Jones.

That would be Sandahl Bergman.
Assuming I am correct, what feat in what book has the following bonus: Use Wis instead of Dex for ranged attacks?
