Where has everyone gone? The games I am in have all paused it seems, waiting on something or someone. My Co-ops have not gotten back to me as they said they would.

It has been days since I have had anything to post, almost a week now.

Have you considered trying to become a DM/GM?
I've been thinking about doing just that someday; of course, I've only role-played once, but I'm looking around for proper advice and conduct.
Fortunately, my period of boredom will come to a halt soon enough; SirSadaar is setting up a Trando merc character for me in his SW campaign, so that will pick things up a bit.

We are moving into the American Thanksgiving and Christmas Period so a lot of us have to focus on RL during the next two months. In fact, many games go into Hiatus during December.

That being said, I do plan to post to Rocinante this weekend.

I have had a massive deadline week this week. I should get back to a more normal schedule next week.

I'm sitting on half a post right now.

I am rather enjoying the the skill check game. Despite my recent dramatic failure,I should have known better...sighs...

It's the fun of d and d without taking things too seriously. I had the fortune of being at a game convention where the Dragonlance books guy was there. He is all for a less serious approach and runs a fast premadeish with members of the audience. I got in on it but sadly failed under pressure. Which is okay,his big thing in a talk given before was to not get so attached to characters,in his game they will die. I think the game is really intended to be more of an elaborate and amusing object lesson.

Also,some secrets about getting through those mysterious dungeons the gm has built to seemingly just to vex you. I haven't tried his trick and don't know if it would really work but it's an equally amusing story. Anyways my point is...join the skill check game!
