The Graveyard of the Inn

After logging in for the first time in eons, it seems as though the Inn is more a graveyard than a community. I don't know, maybe it's the fact that Loaded Dice was last updated in 2011, almost 3 years now, or that only a few continue with campaigns.

It makes me sad that parts of this incredible site have become somewhat decrepit, and that it isn't thriving as it once was. Maybe it's just me, as a long time lurker in the past, but I just wish I could do something to help breath some life back into this place which inspired me and gave me so many ideas for my own campaigns.

Well Salindra

First off welcome back to the Inn its always nice to see a member of the old crowd still around.

As for calling the Inn a graveyard I'm sorry you feel that way, as for me the Inn is still the same place it has always been. There are some good games running, a number of new Innmates and some very good DM's here. Maybe what you need to do is get more involved like you said instead of just being a lurker. Start a game or join one make suggestions, start a thread like this one. Sometimes all it takes for change is one person willing to actually take an interest.

thanks

True true, it's such a shame, though, that Loaded Dice has been stopped for so long, is there any potential for it to come back? It's what attracted me to the site and I would love to see it continued if possible.

Maybe I will join a campaign, at some point. I guess I was just put off by how my first one fizzled so badly :p

We're not in the golden age, that much is evident, but I wouldn't say we're dead yet. Also everyone who comes back is one more heartbeat we move away from being a "graveyard".

One needs to view the glass as half full.

Also this is the 10000th post in this section of the forum.

Break out the party hats.
