Hello everyone Im new in the group im not a big fan of forums since I have always have had problems and got insulted, anyways Im here since despite im not a nerd I would like to know about the D&D World and its characters I love fantastical places and creatures and good guys fighthing the forces of evil im a fan of mythology and mythological Gods specially Dragons and Egyptian Gods.

Hello......... Thought I'd pop in here and give the Ody welcome.

A really good place to start here is "Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies." That helps you figure out how to navigate the halls of the Inn.

To meet folk in real time pop into the DragonChat where I act as current resident bartender. We offer our very own "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh", the stale pale ale with the foam on the bottom.

Just grab a mug off the mantel and draw a cold frosty one.

My assistant Igor is usually lurking around if I'm not there.

He never says anything, must have something to do with having his tongue cut out by his last boss, that nasty bartender over at the Orc Bar & Grill.

I'll have him put out a plate of "Lady Fingers" in your honor.

Reminds me we need to have another "Ladies Night" and restock.

So sorry to hear about your previous experiences with other forums! Here's hoping that you don't run into that same kind of thing, here. In fact, I'll go so far as to say that you won't have that kind of experience on these boards... we kind of pride ourselves on that kind of thing, here at the RDINN, actually. I mean, sure, our Innmates have issues with one another from time to time and, occassionally, feelings might get stepped on a little, but, for the most part, it doesn't devolve into out and out unpleasantness that seem to be "the norm" on other sites... and, if it does, those users usually end up banned pretty darn quickly.

I'm sure you'll find that most of us hereabouts are friendly and more than willing to help you find your way around here. All ya gotta do is give a shout, either via PM or right here in the forums. Somebody'll come runnin' before too long.

Welcome to the Inn!

Let me be another of the InnMates to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there's a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn. Also as Odyson said above a good place to start here is "Pit F(r)iend's epic guide to getting started for newbies.". Which itself was written by an Inn member to help new people just like you figure out how to navigate the halls of the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it's members with respect and we will treat you the same.

So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you'll feel quite at home here.
And though this is the greeting I post to all newcomers do not feel that I am not glad to see a new person come to our home, far from it. Its just easier and quicker this way as we do get a lot of newcomers at times. So then If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.
