XP?

We all know fighters get bonus xp for solo combat and the masters of the arcane and those of faith get bonus xp for using magic.

my question is what do masters of the shadows (thieves) get bonus xp for and how much for these actions.

asdf

I would assume given their nature that activities of subterfuge or skill would fall into that category. Picking locks, evading guards, disarming traps or outwitting puzzles perhaps?

As to how much, I have no idea.

yes

I walk the same path as to actions and the big question still is to how much.

Thank you Sir, Grugg for the wisdom.

depends on the edition you are playing.

in first ed [A D&D] thievs got 1 xp/ gp 'liberated 'from the dungeon, plus 1 xp per trap found disabled and/ or set and 1 xp/ lock.

if the trap or lock was more difficult then average, it was worth more xp.

At least that was the way we played back in the '80s.

in 2nd ed, it was pretty much the same.

But 3.5 and pathfinder the trap has a cr based on the dc that has a value of xp

does that answer the question?

if you are asking just how much is given, well, that is up to the dm in 1st and 2nd editions.
