New to the game, looking for help with Character design
Hi everyone,
I am new to D&D and the group I have joined play 2nd Edition.
I have read most of the rulebook and the Necromancer's Handbook, as I am looking to create a Minion Master type character.
Is there anyone willing to give me some time to answer questions I have, such as 'how is a minion created?' and 'what are the best spells to use low level' as they all seem pretty weak to me...
Thanks all,

Hi Jaiba.........
Welcome.
Minion Master? Well I'd need to look up stuff on that too.
At low levels in 2.0 all characters don't have much power and I guess it will take a while before a Minion Master can actually acquire Minions. Like a Priest gaining followers.
But I'll see if I can find something.
Maybe you'll get a reply from other folks.

.
Minion master would take a high level character. Followers are gained based on level and charisma and you could play those as minions. Low level characters might start off as a minion for a high level NPC master and progress to the point at which they move from minion to master.
