Dragon-Soul92's Art-Please Look!

After I had taken a stroll through the Archives of the Inn, I came to see that art is much appreciated here, with many impressive works on display. Now, please allow me to show you my art that I have drawn in my spare time. I know it may not be as good as likes of Eol and Brom's (those guys are awesome), but I tried! I also apologise for not being able to do links on here, but a quick copy/paste of this address into your browser will do it! Please look at my art and comments will my greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! https://www.quotev.com/story/11663095

Wow!!!

Good stuff, there, Dragon-Soul!!!

I'm particularly a fan of the tribal dragon stuff but it's all fantastic work!

I'm honoured!

I'm not joking, having my art praised by the two of you (whom I really admire) gives me great confidence. I didn't think my art was good enough to merit your approvals.

Yeah, as you can see, I'm not that good at drawing humans lol. Never have been. I love drawing tribal dragons, though. I think they're really fun and kind of like a jigsaw puzzle in a way with all the different shapes coming together to create a picture.

I honestly am flattered, thank you!

(Oh, and thanks, Brom, for doing the link for me!)

Dude, those dragons are on frickin' point. Thanks for sharing.

Have you ever tried Celtic designs? I think you'd do well at those as well.

Hmmm...

I just Googled them and tribal is one thing, but Celtic dragons look rather complex.

Anyway, thank you all for your kind words and I am so glad you like my art!

What Brom said!

Don't ever judge your art by the work of others. Art/creativity is a very personal thing at it's core... it comes from inside of you and no one else. That's your expression, your idea, and it's GREAT regardless of what the works of other folks look like.

I mean, I get it... I sometimes wish I could crank out a piece as quickly as Brom seems able to, and I envy the man's skill in certain aspects, but there's no way my work will ever look like his (nor that his will look like mine) because we're two different people with different styles, approaches, and experience levels... and I'm okay with that!

You just keep on doing you, Dragon-Soul... and we'll keep looking and going "Oooooooooh! That is COOOOOOLLLL!!!"

I get what you're saying, Eol, but I can't help it lol. I easily get envious of another's skill and when I see an amazing piece I can't help but think 'I wish I could draw like that'. Like those professional artists you see (Anne Stokes, Ciruelo, John Howe and the legend himself, Frank Frazetta). It's like 'how are the so good?'.

I know exactly what you mean!

It is difficult not to compare and admire, especially when you come across someone's work that just makes you go ... just don't let the admiration and comaprison ever make you feel "less than."

 "Oooooooooh! That is COOOOOOLLLL!!!"

I believe that's the term.
