Olan's Award Winning Chili Recipe
As most of you know, I run a daddy blog on... well, whatever I feel like writing about. My facebook page for the blog is LARGELY dad jokes, so there.
Today's post shares my actual, honest to goodness, award winning chili recipe. If you like chili, you will enjoy this.

YUM
"Daddy blog", lawd have mercy.
Also yeeessss! I'm always so intimidated by the amount of ingredients in chili, but it's been sounding real good as it gets frostier and frostier here.
I'll have to letcha know how it goes once I brave this recipe!

Yep, daddy blog. Wait till I put some other sewing thing up again. Maybe I'll finish Gideon's quilt at some point.
Chili is easy peasy. Brown ground beer/onions, add canned stuff, add a few seasonings. Let me know how it goes!
Heh, you probably will want to scale my recipe down a bit, though, unless you do it for a party or whatnot.

Yum, indeed!
Your recipe shares a lot of ingridients with the chili that we make for our Halloween escapades, actually. I'll have to get it written up and share with you at some point.
Funny thing - when we originally started doing the Witchworks Halloween, our recipe used 4 lbs of ground beef, too. As of this year, we're up to twelve, I believe.

Twelve? Good googly moogly! I thought my batch was big... you'd probaby need my big brewing pot (44 quarts) to do that one safely.
This recipe has evolved over the years a bit as I toss this or that to see how it goes. It's actually really good if you add a bottle of stout or similar dark beer to it.

Yep! It's a bit ridiculous! Three huge pots of chili going all at once, not to mention the 8 gallons of cider we doctor up and have at the ready. I'm considering investing in a food truck, anymore!

Yeah...
...we had maybe four bowls worth left of ours after Beggars Night. I polished the last of it off for lunch yesterday.
I got you covered, though, Bree. Just let me know when you're heading this way and I'll whip up a batch for you.

Like I said, buy the ticket. It's like NONE of you want me to have chili.
Selfish.

Olan
What is the yield on this? I wanna make some chili, but I'm just cooking for myself--I'm cool with some leftovers, but if it makes more sense for me to half the recipe, I'll do that!

wrt leftovers...
I haven't looked at this particular ingredient list so I don't know how well this may work, but whenever I make my own chili, I usually just freeze a bunch of it for later Split up the batch into smaller containers so I can just thaw out a portion at a time.

Rtfm...
The yield is roughly six quarts, give or take, depending on how much you simmer it (the link says so).
I can see you halving this.
