Eberron Campaign Recruiting
So I want to DM an Eberron campaign. If everything goes as planned, it will include as much mystery as fighting. It will mostly be set in Sharn.
What I need are 4-6 players, no less than four, no more than six. Skilled characters will come in handy, as well as the fighting ones. You can use any Eberron book, any of the Complete books (although I don't have Champion), the Core books of course, Expanded and Complete Psionics, and any Races of books. Any other book must be cleared with me first, although I am very open and the setting allows almost anything. I think we will keep it at level 4 characters with the money limit given in the DMG.
As for background, you all play individuals who fought together in the last war as members of a special operations squadron. This squadron was given several important missions, including demolition, rescuing friendly units behind enemy lines, stealing important information and attacking specific targets. Because of how diverse the missions were, your group was made from different people with different specializations. Today, two years after the war ended, the majority of the group (you) still works together as mercenaries. The rest either died during the war or after, or went their seperate ways. This all starts with an old friend seeking your help.
So, anyone interested?

Huzzzaaaahhhh!
ME! And Though I'm using Draven in a different game currently....I've always felt like Eberron was his setting...it's pulpy/dark/intrigue atmosphere and setting are good for one such as he....Though he IS a very customized charactor..I'll run everything by you and see if you will allow it or not. If not, ill just think up someone else!

booya
Definately interested in this one.
As such, I resign my interest to that other one shadowed by the marvel that is Eberron hehe..
I've definately got a character that would fit the role perfectly, but like Draven, Nel was very detailed and very customized using an array of sourcebooks. but as for interest
ME-ME-ME!!

Oh my...
Draven as Draven is.. and Nel's charismatic nuances and emotional attachment to alchemy ala poisons should prove for an interesting companionship via mercenary comraderie lol.

Oh.. Trait's / flaws etc
Nel's character was made with these in mind, to add depth and rp factor... they were allowed nin the last Eberron game she was in and I'm interested to know if I can keep them in her revamp.
Everyone's got fears or quirks, as a player and a DM I think they give everyone more to work with, but the call remains yours.

About Traits and Flaws
I think I can allow both, although I don't really see a reason for Traits. They are really only there to focus your roleplay, something you shouldn't need. On the other hand, if you need something to focus your roleplay I'm not going to ban it. I just don't see a point in having Traits.

hehe, yeah
I've noticed that I'm running 3 games
One of them doesn't have a story and is still lacking players, but I don't think it will cause me any problems. The CotLT game might become a daunting task because it is kinda confusing with two worlds and all. This Eberron game will hopefully have many twists, so that will keep my mind busy. Of course, there may not be a twist at all, who knows

Good good, Im jsut worried about you getting bogged down. If I get into a game just to have it ruined by a DM quitting I shall probably have to track you down and poke you in the eye. Im bringing in a Bard as soon as I get the time.

yesyes,, you must understand Skari..
Many are anxious for a return to Eberron... Failure to provide such escape could be hazardous to one's health, as having an Irate grugg stalking you with an Atlantic salmon for a weapon could indeed hinder future relations on your end.
(Hey [insert Skari's real name here] I'd love to go out with you, but that creepy dude in the panda suit holding the fish is really creeping me out so uh... I'm gonna go bleach my dog.. bye!)

That's exactly what happened last time I recall...last Eberron DM couldn't get a date for the month I stalked him.

How long til show time?
I'm interested... but when are you hoping to start this deal-e-o up?
Also... are we looking at a fairly dark, sorta anti-hero campaign? I've read Draven in Al's game, and Nel in Bob's game. Both characters seem rather dark (and, with Draven, cynical) personalities... almost punisher-esque. (Correct me if I'm off...)
