Star Trek: Charon Staff Fulfillment

This is not for a new game. This is, in fact, for the Flight of the Cerberus game that Eol is running--a Star Trek "Free Form" that is currently getting started. The Charon is a Saber Class starship captained by Kelsey Gavison, previously the XO for the Discovery (another Star Trek game currently on hiatus). Will need positions for everyone except the Captain and XO. Keep in mind that this crew has been together for some time, they are not a new crew. They've experienced space battles with the Dominion, and until recently, even the Romulans as Dominion allies. They are experienced, and this is a warship.

Deliberating...

I know we've got some potentials out there in the wings, Brom, and we'll sure be shuffling some of those to the Charon (both ships are important to the story, folks)... That said, though, as soon as I pick a dept, I'll be tendering and app for a slot on Capt' Gavison's crew myself... I'm thinking Engineering or Sciences, at the moment, but haven't nailed a solid concept down yet.

Be in touch with you soon, though.

suhwheeet!

glad to see this post!

I'll be filling the role of XO (executive officer) on the Charon, myself. Looking forward to the great ideas from the great players here that helps make for great Trek play!

Ick. too many superlatives.

Give it a try..

Dont know if I know enough about Trek to play an officer of the crew but I am willing to give it a try.

I would like to play the Tactical Officer aboard the Charon. If it is ok?

I will start working on my character idea and have it up shortly.

Sweet!

Glad to have you, Ye Olde. If there's anything I/we can do to help you out, just holler.

I'd like to see...

I'd like to see the bio, but consider yourself in place for the position pending that. We're always glad to have a CMO.

More players?

Still need more roles filled within the Charon. C'mon... who doesn't want to be part of an old war bird with an ornery captain, a pacifist XO, and a big, furry kitty as the TAC/Security? Hmmm?

Here come the Marines

MACO Rhiannon MacQueen now reporting for duty, twin sister of Brianna MacQueen now serving on the Cerberus.

She is the Master Sergant, How about me being the same, Gusty Scot. Has refused Officer rank twice because she does not want to be desk bound. She is from a long line of MACOS back to the days of WWII and Camp Pendleton. She like her sister is a seventh daughter of a daughter, and like in the old gaelic stories she is Fey. Fey means able to see into the future and the ability to sense danger or calamity.

Marines...

...will be posted aboard Cerberus as the Steamrunner is better suited for troop landing operations and, being larger, more easily configurable for housing the platoon. The Charon is filling the scout/escort/fire-support role and, while it's not impossible that MACO troops may shuttle/beam between Cerberus and Charon as necessary, the unit itself is 'based' on Cerberus.

Unless, of course, Brom determines that there is room aboard the Charon and/or he'd like to have part of the unit aboard.

Belay that, Marine!

After having a captain's conference, it has been decided that in times of war (and especially give our mission), a squad or two of marines aboard any ship would very likely be standard. Sooooo, there will be Jarheads posted on the Charon as well as on the Cerberus.... Figure the platoon has three squads of three fireteams (12 Marines), each (Alpha, Beta, Gamma)... One squad aboard Charon and two on Cerberus perhaps?

Yeah

The makes this Marine happy. Now the Charon needs to make an emergeny supply request for earplugs, as this Scottish Marine plays the bagpipes.

Bag pipes

Well one Scottish Marine may be ordering new bagpipes as the originals will be mysteriously shredded!
