New Years Resolutions

What's your real resolutions? Not the lose weight, quit smoking, be a better person, all those. Give me the REAL resolutions.

Mine is to learn to juggle. I'm tired of being clumsy and uncoordinated - time I did something about it. I can type about 90 words per minute, shoot a bow and rifle with decent accuracy, and I was playing video games before I could read. I should have decent dexterity, right? Apparently not. Thus I'm learning to juggle to try and improve my problem.

How about you?

Go for it.

I am rooting for you to learn to juggle, after all what is life without a healthy ability to juggle all that is going on.

I played intercolligate, tennis, basketball, field hockey., badminton, Volleyball, swam and did synchronized seimming.. My friends and collegues said I was one of the overall intelligent women they ever met. Okay, Hawkins I am not, but I have a trememdous thrist for knowledge and an electic broad range of interests,. I can't juggle either. However, at the school I taught at they teach juggleing with small light handkerchief like scarfs they kind of float in the air giver you enough time to master the technige before the speed of gravity makes it so hard. I still never learned. But you work at it and then you can be the life of the party the mext time RDinn has a convention.

scarves

Meh I was good at that scarf thing back in school. I'm talkin the *real* stuff

I've got a few baseballs. I'm good at going in one direction, but it's proving more difficult than I imagined. Thanks for the encouragement!

Juggling

I used to juggle quite a bit a few years ago. (I could manage 5 balls, a few tricks and some clubs).

In my experience it's a bad idea to start with scarves. You should just find three well weighted balls and practice the basic technique until you can manage 6 catches. Then after that you should try juggling two balls in one hand. I'm not sure if it improves your co-ordination or just refines it, but it is fun to do.

Now for my New Year's Resolution...I promise not to make one since I always break them.

Happy New Year everyone!

Oddly

I learned to juggle at a young age and can still do it pretty well. I think I went with 3 balls for 2 hours and some once just out of boredom. More fun than anyone can imagine.

I personally have a resolution...but I forget it...but Ill remember it, and post it here.

Resolution

Juggling is something I have never learned and to tell the truth I have never actually had any interest in learning. But the whole thing is very fascinating, specially when juggling is taken a step closer to the extreme and all those nifty tricks are performed. Good luck with that.

My own resolution is to study harder at school. I only got just high enough grades to pass some of those courses I was in (only know 3 of my grades so far, still waiting for my other 3) and I would like to improve myself. The grading system is given in 0-10 points and I aim at improving my average grade by 2 full points at the very least. Hope I won't break it

mine

To increase my income by a base of 30%. I did it last year and believe I can more than hit that increase this year. But, this is just the crux. The reason for this is that I want to take my wife (married 13 years) on a real honeymoon. Someplace like Spain, Ireland, or a real fancy cruise.
