I have...
I have a delicate mind and am afraid that R postings would burn my brain.
Actually, I too have chilluns that could occasionally read the games dad is involved with and I'd appreciate such consideration.

the rating?
The stick in he mud answer: our terms of service requires that posted mterial not be of a graphic sexual nature. PG, please.
The reasonable answer: we have lots of teens, even young ones, who play here - to say nothing of some of our kids who read along. I have, for the entire history of the Inn, treid to make the site family-friendly. I want people to be comfortable with their kids gaming here. So again, PG.
No real swearing, no graphic depictions of sex. If you wouldn't see it in a network broadcast of a Trek episode, you shouldn't see it here.

Tour?
I had to look up basic plans of the discovery online for my last post, and that had only a few hints at what the discovery is capable of. I'm not sure I'd be up for a tour without some guidance. Anybody got some blueprints or otherwise? Also, anybody got info from actual pilots about the ships feel and Mali's past experiences? I hear references to different major occurences, did she pilot any of these fantastic endeavors? I see little of it in my notes, and have no desire to read 200 pages of repetition at the moment.

Temporal Difficulties
Yawn...
Stuck in Xenobotany's morning meeting, still waiting for the rest of time to catch up so I am not too far ahead.

I want to write but I can't
OOC: I feel so left out. Not senior staff, so not able to write attendence at the party, and already up to the next morning, so too far ahead to add more. Wah!
Mod Edit: Moved to the Q&A Thread. 08 OCT 2006 - Eol

hehe
Let this be a lesson as to why you should follow the posting guidelines here in the Q&A thread - don't advance the plot beyond the current time! Sure, assume your shift, add on what you do afterwards, whatever - espeically when you know that there WILL be an afterwards.
But whe you go ahead a day, you do so at your own peril, and if we were supposed to have a "scheduled emergency" in the morning, there would be a problem.
The idea for your post was a great one - just next time, sit on it until the right time comes. You missed hanging out with Bob and Caleb, and missed the chance to take Caleb's money on poker!

Stu
Well, we know he came back to Nat's quarters that evening, so if you need to post whatever happened in between...you certainly didn't get him to go home with you, lol. I hope he writes soon too, he always makes interesting contributions.

You can always backtrack...
...and post retroactively, too. If you wanted to get started on the "frist duty day" in ENG, for example, you can always throw a post out there to cover that and, wehn Stu gets his post/replies tacked up, you can always "warp back" and cover it in a later post.
Kind of tricky to get the hang of, I know, but, in a game like Discovery, there's always a loophole somewhere that will provide you with a chance to post something.

LOL
Mac's gonna like you...
By the by, unless I'm mistaken, Mac and Avanti had discussed and perhaps implemented some modifications to the phaser arrays and shield generators (Olan has final say on this, of course)... There may even be some "work still in progress" to that end, actually. Don't know if that helps at all but it's definitely reason enough for Mac to be paying a call to ENG before long... He's going to want to make sure that LtCdr Waldgrave knows what's going on as far as that's concerned.
