"Don't worry, I was going to tease her anyway. You see, earlier she played a bad trick on me. She made me think I would get lucky...and she did nothing. Obviously she was thinking the same thing when you happened along, you only gave me a reason to end it earlier. Besides, I'll get her eventually."

He, once more, wasn't worried about her opinion of him. He didn't bother to hide who he really was, she knew that already.

"Well, good luck to ya, then," She saluted him with two fingers. "Best hurry, s'late, aye?"

"You have no intention of coming back with me? Come on now, a level headed girl like you...you'll be the only sane on in the group. In fact, you'll be the only one who isn't trying to hump anyone else" that comment drew a slight smile from her, "In fact on top of an in fact you're the only woman I've ever met who's said no...and I respect that, a lot. You've got a strenght pretty much no one else has. I envy your're restraint...imagine if you were some poor little human girl lost in the forest...what would have happened if a big strong man came up behind you in nothing but his undergarments...now you wouldn't have said no...maybe been creeped out a first, but me? I'm so charming..."

She smiled a little bit wider.

"Anyway, you make for good banter...I like playful banter."

A brilliant thought occured to him. "On top of that...the other ladies will think I've done something with you...and I do love a cat fight..."

Her smiles were mostly made of incredulity, but she found that a cat fight, as ridiculous as the supposed cause would be, would humour her as well. She liked a good fight.

"I warn ya, when I'm n'a fight, there're no holds barred. But whatever, I jus'hate sleepin' in trees. I'll come."

"Hope you like sleeping on the ground...but at the moment, I don't think I'm in the mood to head back now...I don't want that demon Artura killing me for what I did. Sorry, but I smelt the apples...and...well, apples are a sort of an aphrodisiac for me."

"Contrary to whatcha might think, I prefer th'ground. I can smellit from here, so..." She tossed the apple core away.
"I'll be seein' ya."
With a few cracks like breaking bone and jerking movements, she steadily underwent the transformation into a wolf, and trotted off in the direction of the camp.

"I see how it is...leave me all alone...half freaking naked in the forest. Thats real nice..."

He huffed angrily and slowed down to a crawl. His bare feet were starting to hurt from walking on the forest floor, but the last thing he wanted was for her to know he was an Arch Angel. The more people knew, the more at risk he was of being hunted by demons. He couldn't risk flying, so he simply sat down on an old stump and looked up at the sky. He liked being alone, just not right now.

She wandered into the camp and set down her things in a secluded spot. She could sense the demoness' fury radiating from one of the tents, and decided she'd best not stay and provoke it just yet. She wandered back through the forest, sniffing out the lonely pervert, until she came upon the rather pathetic sight of him sitting on a stump.

"You came back, I guess I'm not all that horrible after all."

He smiled at her. It was a new kind of smile. A friendly smile, not a playful one.

The she-wolf sat on her haunches and wagged her tail lazily, almost sarcastically, and panted, her tounge lolling out.

"I suppose thats a 'Yes Roy, you're irresistable...' You'll have to excuse me, I don't speak dog."

He smirked, playful again.

Her tail abruptly halted in its sardonic wagging, and she seemed to glare at him.

"Now that is the fiesty woman I know."

He cocked his head.

"What do I do now? Pet you? Belly rub? I'm confused..."

Her hair stood slightly on end, and she made a painful-looking morph back into a human, fully clothed by some lucky loophole.
"I'd suggest you don't touch me."

"We're not at that stage in our relationship yet..."

He smiled a friendly smile again.

"You do realize I'm still going to mess with you right?"
