You know, I don't really hate you Eol, it's just envy that makes me say that. I waste almost 2 hrs of each day in traffic. That is what I hate. In my job it would be impossible to do at home.

I remember the "wasted hours" in traffic and the hour-long lunches that really came down to about 20 minutes in which to actually eat... Can't say I miss those parts of working in an office with other people, but, at times, I do miss the camaraderie and BSing with my coworkers. It's a give and take either way, I suppose... A blessing and a curse all at once.

Looking forward to posts from both Finn and Teensy McTinyton... in the meantime, I might have a post in the works for a couple of NPCs that'll be interrupting.

I interjected a little NPC(s) post for some "flavor."

Celeste - these NPCs now belong to The Lute and Lynnbrooke. Use them as you will.

Hagga is an older, female dwarf. An expatriate from the mountains to the west (or north, if you prefer). She has a square face, uneven silver hair, and dark gray eyes. She's lived in Lynnbrooke for a number of years and has made a mild reputation for herself as a jeweler and gemcutter. I figure she's fairly regular at the Lute and does a good deal of trading with Talca (and other adventuring types), buying up any gems or the like they might have returned with should she manange to haggle what she considers a fair price.

Benne is a human girl of perhaps 18 to 20 years old and, as mentioned in post, is the daughter of a local goatherd named Gil. She's tall, rather gangly, and has sharp but not unattractive features, wispy hair the color of copper, and large eyes a shade of gray much lighter that her "auntie" Hagga. She's become quite adept at tending her own herd (actually a smaller sampling of Gil's) but longs for a life of adventure. Talca encountered her in a pasture once, a few years ago, and she's been rather smitten with him ever since, even though nothing more than a kiss on the cheek has ever transpired between them.

Sooooo.... there's that... all player should feel free to use them at your discretion... if you have questions about their personalities that you can't ferret out for yourselves, just let me know.
