:)
Celeste dear, I was born with 1st edition and lived 2nd edition Ad&d. I know exactly what protection the secure shelter gives and I'm happy it does. The young mage is of course as safe in the hut as we are at the inn, but he is alone.
However, I have no idea what Almerin may have in store for us even if I've got some wild guesses. There are things that aren't stopped by wizard locks or alarm spells. The mist worries me. In any case, that was just me saying "please be careful out there". I was certainly not saying Arvin shouldn't leave the village. I think Phelan is roleplaying his character brilliantly.

Ahah! This may be a "don't split the party!" moment then! My apologizes for the slight misunderstanding!

I'm also not entirely keen on staying in the creepy village either. ^_^

Creepy it is
Oh come on... Just think about it. A nice roast of lamb with some baked veggies washed down with a soft ale or a nice red. Then sitting by the fire, listening to the bard and sipping some sweet Tokaji or Madeira style dessert wine... What possibly could go wrong?
That's if they do have a bard or even roast ofc.

Roasted bard...
Even with an apple in Mylos' mouth i am sure he could sing better than Marius

Hear hear
I totally agree Brundel! When Marius sings it means that everyone else is dead. In the world. Or that he is dead ofc.

Where's Almerin?
He's usually timely with his updates? It's Wednesday. Hopefully, he's just recovering from the weekend.
Almerin, we miss you! Return to us!

I'm right here, hehe
Yes, since I was waiting on updates on Monday I had to wait for the next opportunity to post.
Which was now! So yay for that!
This was quite a tricky update to do, since it involved some interaction which wasn't very much specified beforehand. Maybe it's handy if next time you approach somebody for information you give me a few questions you'd like to get answers to. I think that would help a bit. I don't want to give to much away for free.
Since most my games are very much player-initiative-heavy you'll have to give me a bit more insight in what it is your character wants to get out of his/her actions.
Ayrn, PM on its way.

Hey All
So... what's the plan? Are you guys planning on bringing your characters to the common room? Shall I post that I am hanging around there and then you'll approach me?
I was thinking of going that route... of posting the scene set up of Berodin sitting at a table by himself (but with enough chairs for your group), and all the other chairs taken in the room? Would you be the type of folks who'd sit down with a stranger for dinner in a common room? Or should I come up with something else?
Also, Almerin, is Thursday the new update day, or is it still Mondays?

well
The coming two weeks are very much taken up by all kinds of random stuff. My Mondays are fully booked the coming 2-3 weeks, and Thursdays are hard as well. I think for the coming 2 weeks we'll have to see. This depends strongly on how you guys post too.
After that, Mondays really have my preference.

Roger that
Been busy myself. Planning to post tomorrow, but if you're not updating on this Monday, I'll postpone till Tuesday.
UPDATE: Yeah. I'll definitely postpone till tomorrow as I haven't slept much in the last couple of nights due to my allergic flu. Started taking the medication too late, again.
Sorry about this delay guys.

hmm
This isn't good. Just a single post? Are things intimidating? Is time a problem? Let me know what to expect, guys. The game has just barely started...

Soz mate
Sorry for not being able to post, Almerin. I sincerely have loved the game so far and definitely will want to carry on playing. Work has been hell this week and not only because it's been busy. My energy has been drained by various reasons this week and currently I feel a little down. This ofc has nothing to do with the game and I hope to post during the weekend.
Sorry again, dear friend.

real life, dagummit!
Hey gang!
I posted up in the Comings and Goings, but I thought I’d put something here too. I’m on a semi-forced hiatus for the next five weeks. My sincerest apologizes ~ as unfortunate as it is sometimes, real life comes first.
Have fun you guys! See you soon!
loves,
me
