guns and buns
Not sure you really want to take these guns as a hood ornament.
1) highly illegal and would restrict the use of the HM on most planets
2) held together with duct tape and spot welding. You know what happens to both when they get hot.
3) you would have to rewire the controls completely
4) we are talking redneck ugly.
5) did I mention the duct tape?
as to cal, these rules really aren't set up for different cal per damage.
Odyson - I can not believe you actually didn't try to perform some sort of first aid on Winnie. Not even a bandage or something! OMG! Pressure on the Wound! Anything!
I forbid you to change it because it is so funny considering what will happen next.

What!!!!!
What!!!
He isn't Doc from Castle.
She shot him three times in the back and left him to die in the street.
He did call for help.
Beside girls with big bleeding belly wounds aren't that cute...anymore!
Oh I know.... you were going to have her stab him in the back when he tried to help. Fool me once....

uh huh
Asher has Survival - that would include first aid and field dressings.
But you did make me laugh. That's worth a plot point or two. Definitely two if you survive.
Bwahaha.

hey
should bad guys get plot points? Or only PC's.
just a thought but I was thinking really bad villians should get some plot points to reduce damage as well.

My rolls are bad enough,...........
Well most GM have the Badies levels higher to start so it tougher to take them down.
Plot points are for trying to help the PC level the playing field by choice.
If the Badie is a lacky and even with the PC then they usually make up for in numbers.
Also the GM "knows" all the angles and twists because they made the story. The PC's have to figure it out and stumble through.
If the badies are going to get plot points and second chances then just don't have any for anyone to start so the PC just stay's with what they roll and take their lumps.
I guess I should read up on "Survival", I just thought it meant he was good at foraging for food.

skills
the cortex rules makes skills very general for the purpose of allowing for some overlap. You may not be good \\at everything but you'd have a general idea. Like Mal using a sword. He probably knows the basics (pointy end goes into person) but he doesn;t have the finesse level of skills.
Anyway- it might have saved Asher life so we will let it go. I think when the campaigns ends soon, and you get advancement points, we can re-look at the skills and the new traits.
Vanadia - I will do my best to get home tonight asap. Last time I did a focus group they didn't need me so I got paid and went home.

standing in the dark - this could be your last mistake
Umm.. Are Wyatt or Sam using their flashlights or wandering around in the dark. No the flashlights are not going to explode, or turn into bombs, or shoot killer bees - I just need to know how much you are going to see.
Sam see a pit in front of you.
Sam just found the pit in front of you.
See? Big difference.

What's next????
I got so nervous waiting for Al to post. I'm feeling more and more comfortable in Asher skin, I just hope I can keep him alive.
I have to say it has been really difficult to go gunning after a girl. That is sooooooooo not the RL me. It may not seem it to all of you great writers, but Al can REALLY thrown the challenge to me. With Asher, Doc and Jon I'm pushing places I never been before. Thanks to all the groups for your support. YeOlde, Tann...you guys have really helped me grow. Just goes to show you, you're never too old to learn.
Ok, so what's next?

Well.......................
When Ash is around, girls just go to pieces!
But I can understand if Ash ignores them they just blowup.
Just one of those situations where she couldn't keep it together.
So it's just proof that if you snooze, you lose.
But Asher did get a bang out of it.
