Questions ...

..... about Brokkrok and what he learned are to be directed here for Almerin to answer as he posted earlier in the game thread ***

Glad you enjoyed my post Admiral.

I am just waiting for the Update by Almerin before I write another entry in the MHC game thread.

*** (OOC: Welcome Hammer’s character to the game! I know you guys must have a lot of questions concerning Brokkrok’s knowledge of the matter. Please put these in the Q/A where I can answer them.)

new info

A total of 3 farmers have disappeared:

Mosk Tefferson, farmer of Stinkdelver mushrooms

Irana Ribault, wife of Lucian, farmer of Moistcaps

Steph Blacker, son (and successor) of Theo & Resa, farmers of Round Whites

The Ribaults are devastated with the disappearance of Irana and have no idea what has happened to her. She left her box-bed at night to go to the bathroom and never returned. Lucian found the door unlocked that morning, but otherwise there is nothing he could tell Brokkrok.

So Almerin ...

..... Some Questions regarding Brokkrok gathering information the past few days:

1. Are these Shroom Farms where the missing farmers are from adjacent or randomly located geographically (meaning any kind of pattern here?)

2. What do these missing farmers have in common? Location? Age?

[I know you posted in Game that Brokkrok basically discovered No Animosity or Competition between the farmers.]

3. Were there any trace of unusual tracks or any signs of a disturbance around the property of the missing farmers?

4. When Brokkrok eliminated the Skeleton (before the lady went missing from that farm) was there anything out of the ordinary regarding the surrounding area? [Other than the UnDead walking around?]

5. Are these missing persons all Humans?

6. How long ago did they disappear? (The same night or different nights?)

7. Did anyone go missing during the day or just under the cover of darkness?

8. What was the order of their disappearance? (The Sequence of disappearances?)

Thank You

just to say...

Great questions

BTW, as of Nov 1st, I'll be participating in NaNoWriMo again, so I'll be posting, but kind of away. But not really.

ok

What time of day is it at the end of your post? I know Takley posted about sleeping through the night but if it's early evening when we arrive I say instead of talking the evening away we at least set out and see if there are any more undead (since this was when the last one was seen) before we turn in for the night.

It will screw up my spell selection (since honestly at this point Glitch will still have spells prepared to help with the alchemy he thought he would be doing today) but I still think it's the right thing to do. At least just a quick look over a couple farms before we turn in.

If it's still in the mid afternoon (which means we made *extremely* good time) we could even talk to a few farmers today.

If it's late at night then I suppose we should just turn in.

early

It's early evening, and you have plenty time to investigate a bit. Though you will find that the farmers have boarded up for the night, and won't answer any doors.

1) I'll do my best to draw you guys a map of the 'town' and post it tomorrow.

2) They don't appear to have anything in common, other than being part of this community.

3) You haven't looked yet. You can do so in your next post, if you like.

4) Not that you noted. The skeleton was walking the outdoor mushroom patches.

5) Sedostra is a human only community, by chance, not because of some racial conflict.

6) The people disappeared over several non-successive nights. There doesn't seem to be a pattern there.

7) Mosk and Irana disappeared in the night. Steph didn't come home after a day of work on the field.

The order is as I described in my earlier post.

Hope that helps somewhat. I think investigating the town will lead to a few more conclusions, and if you choose to do so I will include it in my update tomorrow.

Posted the Prayer by Brokkrok ...

..... which includes the Spells he has asked his deity to grant him this day!

Also note that Brokkrok informs the members of the Monster Hunters Collective as to what has transpired and then challenges them to help him investigate the town to solve this mystery!

He is determined to go by himself if no one else decides to help him, because he has already wasted too much time waiting for help already!

I was going to ...

..... do a responding Post to what Jozan wrote to the Game Thread (enjoyed the read) but I need to get some sleep!

Might just wait and see what Almerin does with the info each player has posted and then incorporate what I was going to have Brokkrok respond to a fellow Khord.

Explanation

I am not trying to divide the party by proclaiming that Brokkrok will take Traubon to the site of the skeleton site in the mushroom fields.

Everyone is welcome to come along, but if someone has a better plan then hopefully you will post before Almerin updates this adventure!

I went back and Edited the Post to make it clear that everyone is welcome to go to the Skeleton site, unless anyone else has a better plan of action?

Thanks Takely

Your edited post gives me something to work with even though the editing goes with the posts that follow

Appreciate the effort Takely!

I will just wait for Almerin to post before giving a response to Takely about the offer for mushroom stew.
