questions here i guess
I'll check the Q/A thread more often, this time I'll answer any questions in character here (if you ask the elf) and at the end of the week, I'll post it all together in the dark sun game.

Moving forward?
Do you guys want to take a long rest, or keep going? I think we should probably push onwards. Our supplies are definitely running out and, unless we come across more somehow, I'd rather not be weakened by the time we arrive at the ruin. We do expose ourselves to attack a bit if we get attacked today, but I think it is worth the risk.
And with the prisoner, I think we should keep him along. I doubt he'd make it back, and if he did there is the entire 'Do this mission or die' thing that the Templar's probably are enforcing to the letter. I would like to know how close he is to his comrades, to see the chances of them showing up at night to find him.

,,,
At the very least, I would suggest doing the short rest so that you don't have to lug the guy around and you can also heal
EDIT
You can also interrogate them now as i think I already included the short rest

line of questioning..
Sir S has my thoughts nailed as well.. Klik would like to know how the zombies infection spread, and whether the other elves would even attempt ot check and see if he or any of the fallen stayed down or rose again.
I mean we saved them and they scurried like mice without so much as a thank you.
Also. regarding the elf. Now that he's 'healed' Will he come with us? is he willing to join the party for safety sake (understanding that he's likely not getting a cut of the reward should we return) or maybe he can earn a share? who knows... What are his strengths, weaknesses, alot of insight checks and random probing while remaining civil and not 'interrogating' as so much just trying to get a grasp of the situation and hopefully make a ally/friend out of the deal rather than a burden.

Posting Tomorrow
My crazy schedule ends today. I'm too tired to write anything now, but I will have something up tomorrow. Sorry for the lag, September is an awful month.

Ooops
Sorry guys, I somehow missed the last posts. I thought I was up-to-date on this game and I was one post behind.
Trossach would be ok moving on after a short rest or taking a long one - he isn't injured after all. However, if the elf wishes for his companions to be buried he would very strongly desire to fulfill that wish. This doesn't need to be a great, deep, grave, but it probably would take a little time. At the very least it might necessitate a long rest.
As for the elf - if he wants to join us Trossach would be ok with that. He would find the desire to leave to be likely foolish, but it is the elf's choice. He does, however, need to answer some questions first. Group - do we heal him more thoroughly if he is coming with us?
For the DM: Are there rocks around? Specifically medium sized rocks that would be fairly easy to move and put on top of a grave to prevent animals from easily digging in?
Also - forgot to put in the post, but Trossach would include any elves that became zombies in the burial. I assume we were right in thinking the fast zombies were elves.

And here we go
Sorry for the delay in posting, but it's up.
MorrÃgu would be fine with a rest, especially if it means traveling by night. That would make her very very happy.
It's going to take some serious convincing for her to help with the burial. She's coming around to thinking light elves might not be different than her, but it will be a long time before she does not see them as enemies in her bones. She only got involved in the fight to kill zombies, not to help the elves. Right now she is curious about the elf, so she wouldn't protest him coming along.

some questions
I believe the main question you guys had was how bad was your hp.
I think you guys took little injuries, they didn't manage to get a single hit and you only took damage from explosive goop. So everyones health is on the the char sheet forums.
again level up as soon as you guys find the ruins so, that'll come soon

And now what?
Well, if the elf says, "burn 'em" then that is what Trossach would do. The bodies should all be piled near the base of the hill. So, a few questions:
1. How long will it take Trossach (with help?) to burn them? Would this necessitate a long rest?
2. Am I right that our path must take us across the dark lands?
3. Ask if he is a bard. When he fights is it with blade or bow?
4. Does he know anything of our objective?
5. Did I understand correctly that he thinks that not all of the walking dead followed them? So there will likely be some of those in the vicinity of the packs?
To the group - if the "burial" doesn't require a long rest, it would seem that going and fetching the backpacks would be a good idea. Maybe depending on if the zombies are likely still around. Trossach would not be ok with the idea of robbing from others.

answers!
It won't take the long rest, I'm not an asshole
I'd say with your strength and stamina, plus if people helped you, maybe a half hour, an hour and a bit if you don't get help.
2) You can certainly think so. At least thats what Aren is saying
3) He's a "bard" but he ain't an actual bard. Magic is super rare in these lands. Judging from what he's said and what you gather, he has He has a dagger and a bow at his side.
4) what do you mean objective? If you mean find the ruins he is wanting to get to there to (from the templars)
5) And yes you are correct in that aspect, he believes there are other zombies waiting and lurking. I don't know if i made this clear but the "dark" energy that possessed the body came from the defiled land as well

I think we should burn the bodies, then have Aren show us where they dropped their backpacks. We direly need the supplies, and the less time they are in the open the better. If the elf isn't ready to go by the time we leave, Reynard will just carry him.
As for the undead, I think we proceed with caution, and engage them as we come across them. Most of our characters lack stealth abilities, with Reynard being both reluctant to sneak and pretty disastrous at it.
Also, Reynard will use a hit die. He got beaten up pretty badly out there.

okay i'll roll for you! Because of your and Doc Kliks healing, you get an extra 2d4 i think healing when you use a hit die? So that'll be good
He'll be able to move, just slowly. He's not too proud to say he won't allow you to carry him.
okay you guys can engage them, I'd rather not spend weeks fighting so is it alright if I just roll attacks for everyone? Im going to assume that strays you'll be able to kill, maybe when it gets to a group, then I'll tell you and you can just quickly tell me what you want to do and then I'll do some quick rolls.
I'd rather not waste ages doing combat

I am fine with some sped up battles, especially since they can take a very long time. The ones that the party is pretty obviously going to win don't really need the weeks of posting (perhaps a post on how we plan on engaging, and then you do it?) It is the ones where there is a major threat of death that need the longer times for posting and planning.
