Looking quickly around him he sought out the next enemy ever mind full of the bolts falling around him. It felt good to do battle once again, having it seemed been away from it too long, the blood, the pleasure of watching a foe fall, the rush of his axes striking true and the knowledge of being superior over yet another foe.
Battle was good Highnar thought to himself yet again, as he continued to scan for his next closet enemy....

Lorae continues to press her attack. Her opponent is quick, but a fumble kept him from getting all his attacvkes last round. She does not want him to get away. He had called on Lolth, the enemy of all Elves of the Light.

Logan has a Drow wounded and down by him, and Brianna has another Drow down by her.

Lorae is engaged with a 3rd Drow and there is one blind Drow wandering about trying to get away.

The only other Drow is the women and teenage girl theat Brianna has been protecting, and the wounded Drow male and two children Sarai has seen.

Logan turns his attention to the wounded Drow on the ground and stands over him. Places his Bastard sword to his throat and demands that he yield in elven. While doing this he moves the point of his short sword to his right shoulder and start to push it into him. He has also positioned himself so that his right(or left depends on hich hip the Drows' sword is attached to) is directly ontop of the sword making it almost impossible to unsheath the sword. If he refuses to yield, he will plunge the short sword into his shoulder.

Brianna whirls around looking for foes, though she does not move from her self appointed position. HEr eyes blase with the light of battle. She seeks to honor the Warrioress with her skills and the Mother by her protection of motherhood.

SHE spares a glance and a word to those she protects. in elvish for she know not the language of these dark elves. "I will protect you."

Xuor has no target except for the blind Drow. Logan has pinned his Drow down and the Drow screams a curse, but throws his weapon away from him. Sarai with no target paused to look to the Drow male and the 2 children hiding under the brush. The Drow by Brianna does the same. Leaving Lorae and a Drow locked in combat.

The Drow moves his blade with lightning like movements. Elf, Drow 1 (Scimitar +4 (Dancing, Shock, Speed), #1) hits (18+19) AC 37 for ----> Critical threat to AC 39 , total damage to Lorae 20 HP in the upper right arm. Lorae counters with a hit of her own Lorae, Longsword +5 (Holy, Keen), #1) hits (15+1 AC 33 for 20 HP (12 s + 8 s) of damage in the upper right arm. And Lorae second attack also hits. Lorae, Longsword +5 (Holy, Keen), #2) hits (17+13) AC 30 for 22 HP (14 s + 8 s) of damage in the left shoulder. The Drow hits the forest floor unconscious. Lorae ends his life with a coup de grac, taking off his head.

Logan wounded, Brianna wounded, Lorae wounded. Two wounded Drow and one blinded.

The Drow woman gets up and nods to Logan and Brianna, Both of you are poisoned, allow me to heal you, I am a priestess of Elistraee.

Brianna checks out what is going on before she will accept the woman's offer. Listen and looking for the others. "Call out if you can. Does anyone need any nelp?"

She scans the area for any more fighting or listens for any sounds of fighting.

Lorae, Xuor,." she calls out at those she cannot see immediately in the area. "Who else is here?" she adds as she remembered hearing a bellowed battle cry that certainly came from no Drow throat.

"Over here and all clear!" calls Lorae as she gathers any weapons and magical items on her downed Drow.

She walks back into the clearing where Logan and Brianna are. She stops between Logan and Brianna and looks her over, "I've seen you looking better."

"I have been worse. However this woman says Logan and I have been poisoned and has offered to heal us of it. She says she is a preistess of Elistraee, but I do not not that Diety."

I am at a quandry. We have helped her and I can understand her williness to help us but I am unsure of his Diety. Logan who is Elistraee?

I have heard the name before, but as to the kind of diety she is, i can't recall just yet. perhaps after I have healed up a bit and rested it will come back to me.

Logan responds to the offer of healing "That is very kind of you. Dont mind if I do take some healing right now. And, I believe you are correct, it does appear that I have been poisoned but it doesn't seem to be affecting me all that much."

Waitng until his prisoner is secure before he sits down to recieve the healing. After he has been secured and is under watch, Logan sits and mutters to himself, "I have had better battles than this, I've also had worse."

"Bianna, her goddess is Good," Lorae comes up and nods to the dark skinned Drow. "I thank you for your offer to heal my comrades, I am Lorae, cleric and Paladin to The Light."

Brianna returns to where the woman is standing. Is the child okay? By the Great Mother, it was wrong of them to seize a shild like that." Only after she insures the child is okay will she acdept healing for herself

"I do thank you for the offer of healing." I would appreciate it so that I can be free of the posison."

THese darkskinned elves puzzle her. There were nothing like them where she had come from. She was curious about what their diffeneces were, but for now she kept her curiousity in check.

The Drow Priestess quickly neutralizes the poisons in Logan and Brianna, then uses powerful heal spells close their wounds. Pink fleah showed where they so recently had discolored wounds. "That poison is one that prevents normal healing so I had to newtraulize it first. Eventually you would have bled to death unless you knew the nature od the poison. It is a rare and difficult poison to counteract."

"Markessa, go to your father, and the others." she points back to some underbrush about 60 feet away. The woman turns back to Logan and Brianna and any other who are near.

"These are an evil lot," she says to Brianna and Logan, as she stands and points the the three remaining living Drow. "They are of House Jaelre, and lead by Jezz the Lame a crafty Sorceror and Rogue. House Jaelre inhabits the Old Eleven Court and seek to gain control of the mythals and the old wards to help protect him. Although they are not Spider-kissers, they follow another Evil God, Vhaeraun.

They foement trouble in the Dalelands keeping others attention there to prevent anyone from knowning where they are and what they are trying to do."
