I like the idea of the spell zapping. Maybe save the chain lightening for when there are more that two.

A power surge to their systems could blow them out.

Side arm blasters might work better than hack and slash.

I don't think anybody is on the other side of the pile. Rhyson set off the alarm before Tomiki started to climb, I think. Plus, the DM's post said we "heard" another machine on the other and stuff drop to the ground. So we are assuming there are more on the other side - I'm guessing two more as things tend to be symmetrical, but we really don't know. Somebody should be either climbing the pile or, maybe more likely, getting ready to shoot that way. I already posted to have Rhyson use the jolt blast spell on the two on this side.

And in case it isn't obvious, guess this place has a lot of power left somewhere.

Are there any fire extinguishers or fire hoses near? A shot of wet might cause power shorting or mess up optic sensors to hamper targeting.

If they are using thermal sensors then CO2 blast in front of them would block our heat for a few moments.

Maybe a big pile of dust to cover optics might work too.

Inwill of course support the party, casting assistance magic and then healing and other magic as she can, but I'm waiting on a crude map from the DM at the moment. Want to make sure I know where everyone is first and where the cats are on this side of the pile.

Tell me about the heavy blaster that Lum has. Is it like a rifle, shotgun or bazooka?

I want to determine if it useful here against the cats or is it this too close of quarters for it's use.

Would still like to know about the heavy blaster. I was intending to have Lum use that or his side arm blaster. I had also thought of having him crawl up the pile and blast the ones coming from the other side. But I don't want to blow a hole in the floor if it is that powerful.
