thanks
Weaver needed the happy ending in my books and as for Jimmy, I was thinking creepy all the way. Jimmy died in the the jailcell but now, James is in town and nothing really matters anymore to him except getting revenge on Willow. I am sure you will cross paths with him again.
One last loose end to complete and that is what was on the datadisk you found. Then I will post the "pilot auditions" to get the new players in, then a fast forward a few months and bada - new game starts.

Psuedo unrelated ramblings...
...I already mentioned "yay 4shared," right?
Can I mention it, again? Now that I've made my way through the Big Damn Hero's Handbook and find myself thoroughly fascinated by chapter 6 (regarding Chinese Culture in the Verse)I'm even more itchy to slip into the little sifu's skin and get back aboard my most favorite firefly ever!

tidying up
I’d like to think that, coupled with her steady calm and multiple goodies in discipline, Tess will at least keep her head level during the first meeting with Trish. (maybe a little eye pop. ^_^)
She will, however, have flashbacks. War is an ugly thing.
A couple of things: To keep in with the timeline of the story, Tess will have aged a bit, so she’s either 26 or 27. I’d say that’s your call on how much older, Al.
And, if it’s alright with you, merely as an RPing item, I’d love for Tess to have picked up another (perhaps worn and chipped) tea set to replace the one that smashed at the end of Destiny’s Flight. Plus a tin of mediocre jasmine leaves?
Also: pilot auditions?? O.o Sounds like fun!

yeah
I was planning to do the pilot auditions as a narrative but if Loki and Celeste would like to write their own, I am all for it. You will basically be one of three finalists (John, Tess and a guy named Gator). Wyatt will show you to the the controls and ask you to take off, fly around for a spell and then land. His only instruction beyond that is "impress me".
Let me set the scene first and Gator will go first, then Tess and finally John.
Aging Tess ... Sure, no problem and I have no problem with Tea or a tea set as long as it don't fire explosive ammo or rockets.

*raises right hand*
I solemly swear that this here little white china tea set with the frilly blue patterns ain’t nuttin’ but a ruddy tea steepin’ ‘n drinkin’ contraption. If it do explode, it’ll be because some huen dahn decided to throw it, to which I claim no responsibility fer collateral damage of flyin’ bits.

If it helps at all...
...Sam's 'audition' can be found in the "Wyatt meets Sam" posts of the Rocinante Backstories thread.
Probably not going to be the exact same audition, of course, but I reckon it'd be something right close.

No sim this time
Contestants will be flying the real thing with the stern warning "Scratch my boat and you are off it. Damage my boat and you'll leave by the airlock."

Questions
I have some questions actually, mostly for the Captain but I am sure you will all chime in:
Did anyone tell JW or Bailey about the tainted platinum in the mine in case they decide to explore the collapse?
You have 3000 credits, are you gonna spend it on the ship, pay the crew, hold it for lean times, a bit of all?
Did anyone warn Bowman about the triplets?

Hmmm...
...in regards to the tainted platinum and based on his whole 'don't let harm come to innocents' thing, I can see Sam, maybe, mentioning something to someone about "Ya might wanna keep folk outta that ruttin' hole, 'less they wanna come up with a sudden case o' dead" before Rocinante burnt atmo.
Other than that little bit, though, I've got no input on the rest.

Rip, Tear, Fling...............
Well Ash and Wolf never saw the loot so they have nothing to add.
I think Andrew is a bit OLD for the triplets but I'm sure there are other ladies that will treat him right.

Questions...always questions
Q. Did anyone tell JW or Bailey about the tainted platinum in the mine in case they decide to explore the collapse?
A. Wyatt wouldn't have made mention of the platinum, because as far as he's concerned it is really bad luck. He would have said something akin to, "If I was you, I'd steer clear of reopening that mine like it was full of ragin' Reavers...very bad luck down there." Given the chance.
Q. You have 3000 credits, are you gonna spend it on the ship, pay the crew, hold it for lean times, a bit of all?
A. I've searched around and completely lost the arrangement for crew payment. Can you please refresh my memory? Once I have that information I can figure out a proposal for the way to spend our coin.
Q. Did anyone warn Bowman about the triplets?
A. Wyatt wouldn't have considered it any of his business, and usually keeps his nose out of such affairs. So, no. He wouldn't have made mention at all.

divide???
I can not recall that there was a drawn up list for who got what shares and pay. Frankly, you haven't ever had a lot of money to consider doling it out before. When you got the 1000 from JW for the first load of ice there wasn't much to got around. I will skim through the postings and see if I can find anything.
Need to figure something out though as of your 7 man crew, 3 are new.
It looks like we started talking about this and never finsihed the process. As I can see it. Wyatt owns the ship clear (No debt). Willow bought 2 shares, Kora 1 and Ash 1. Trish was never included and I think she isn't really in this for the money or glamour. Now Kora is gone and you have no decided what to do with Wolf. Once we start anew, you will have to decide what to do about Tess and John as well.
If I look at the TV series, I think that salary was sorta a percentage of job. Remember that Jayne worked for basically his own room, food and 5% of job profits.

If I recall...
...Wyatt offered Sam 20 credits a month to fly the boat and such when they were first shall we say "negotiating" Sam's 'contract'... Of course, that was 'top level' pay and Sam thought Wyatt was fong lu... don't think we ever really decided what the pilot's pay actually worked out to... Sam was just happy to have a place to snooze and a boat to fly at the time.

okay
That would be the details of Sam I could not find.
Either way, Let's establish the pay so people can buy their stuff and move on. I don;t want this to bog down the game.
