Another Question
Is it very sunny out? I was wondering because I think the kobolds have light sensitivity and would be affected by it.
Also what does each kobold look like? Are there any that look like spellcasters, is one clearly the leader, or do they all look basically the same?

Since you are first level characters, and based on your histories no one would recognize them as kobolds. (Except for perhaps Zeph depending on if they were common in the area his tribe was in. I'll leave that up to you Shield)
As far as you can tell the man only has the spear wound in the stomach, but as I said he has collapsed on the ground and whimpering so it's difficult tot ell anything more about him.
Despite the noise some of you made (Move Silently rolls between 12 and 27 except for Sintan) you have been largely ignored and undetected as far as you can tell. The only exception is the wolf. Two of the creatures heard the snarl and are cautiously heading in his direction (to the right of Darkon and across the clearing from Zeph).
You see a dozen foes (all out in the open) and none of them seem to stick out as the leader-type.
It is a rather sunny day (about mid-morning by this time). Though it is a clearing the canopy of the large trees provides plenty of shadows and dims the brightness of the light significantly. As far as you can tell none of the creatures seem to be squinting or otherwise adversely affected by the bright light, but since you wouldn't necessarily know to look for that, you can't be certain.
Any other questions?

No posting
Well, I was planning to do an update yesterday, but with no other posts, nos uch luck. So here is the deal, I am going to do another game update tomorrow night (since I don't believe I declared when I was going to update the game again). The game will move on at that point. Anyone who hasn't posted will be considered to have not taken an action. So... since Dakarta is the only one that has posted thus far, I suppose he is the only one to act this cycle, unless everyone else gets a chance to post of course.
I'm attempting to keep the game going at the pace I'm used to. If I'm pushing too hard or if we want to set an update day (like... say Wednesday or whatever) just let me know. After all, this is a learning experience right?
I hope everyone enjoyed your weekend. And POST dang it!

Workin'
Work has been taking up much of my time, I haven't been able to post in any of my games recently. I'll try to get something posted tomorrow after work, but we'll see.

The end of the 1st round
Shield Wolf: You are correct about a single wolf's general tactics. As far as the summon nature's ally, I believe it does have a 1 round/level duration, though I don't play with druids much. My general ruling on summoning spells is that they attack the round they are summoned. The spell does have a 1 full round casting time, but the nearest kobolds failed a listen check to detect your mystic syllables (being to absorbed in looting and pillaging). And since you were pretty much the one to initiate the surprise round, I gave it to you first.
So, 2 of the kobolds are down, 1 is wounded. 4 uninjured kobolds near the summoned wolf (which will disappear on Zeph's turn of the next round) and 4 more (including the severaly injured one) are fighting Sintan. The two remaining are near the man, though they are armed and relatively aware.
No additional kobolds have shown their faces, nor has anyone resembling a leader.
Any questions before the next round?
Next update will be will be Saturday sometime unless I hear otherwise from you guys.

Did I miss something?
I checked the character sheets, and it says that Zeph is a second level character. I just wanted to check because I that why I thought his spell would last longer.

Yes... but...
He is a 2nd level character, but he is not a 2nd level druid. Spells effects and durations are based on the caster level (thus his druid level of 1) not character level (which would be 2 in this case).

Tus
Summon Monster I cannot summon a hell hound. Per the 3.5E Player's Handbook and considering your alignment you can summon the following:
Celestial Badger
Celestial Monkey
Fiendish Hawk
Small Fiendish Monstrous Spider
Fiendish Viper
Celestial Giant Fire Beetle
A hell hound cannot be summoned until Summon Monster III which is a 3rd level spell, not castable by a wizard until 5th level.

Alright...
Based on posting history, I will only update the game on Saturdays, not at any specific time that day, just Saturdays.
Also, if characters attempt to perform actions that they simply are not capable of, I will attempt to explain why they cannot do such a thing (which should be rare since I let people do whatever they can think of within the bounds of their character's skills and abilities) and provide an opportunity for them to change their post. Should that fail a random action will be decided by me, and the results will more than likely not be in the character's favor.
If there are any questions or concerns about this announcement, don't hesitate to either PM me or post here. I'm simply trying to keep balance between the players and make sure everyone has fun (as long as they are posting!)
Keep in mind that you are training, and I expect you to try to push the envelope a bit, but don't be surprised when the rules stand firm.
Good gaming to you all, and I look forward to seeing you defeat the kobolds before you.

POST DANG IT!
Just a bump for the thread reminding those tat haven't posted since my last update that I will be updating the game once again sometime Saturday night. If there is no post, your character does not act (the only exceptions being the people who have made other arrangements with me prior).

Soooo... is it just me and Zeph know
Just wondering if theirs anyone else still in this game cause I really like it nad where it's going but, it would be nice if we had more players.
On a seperate note I was wondering if we could bump the posting to a twice a week scheduale (and yes I know I havn't posted yet, I just tend to post last minute, I'll definetly get my post in tommorow). I do have enough time to check here almost every day so I could probably post twice a week too.

Well...
I know Dakarta is still a part of it as well, he just tends to wait and see what others will do before determining his action. And as far as twice a week, I'm okay with that, HOWEVER since I started running this portion of the game, I am lucky if I can get everyone to post once a week. I check in on the game almost everyday. When everyone has posted I will update the game. If that is only once a week then so be it. If it is more frequently I'm okay with that as well, though I can't speak for what will happen once this section is over and Meri takes the game back over (at least until you guys go through another training exercise).

a couple points
My hours at work have been picking up, so I am working more often, thus have less free time, so my ability to post is not what it once was. I will continue to post, am still very into the game, and look forward to further posting.
On a side not, Steel, Sintan is a she. I know its probably more force of habit than anything to use masculine pronouns, so I'm not really worried about it.

Alright
I think I've been calling Sintan a she all along. I guess I just slipped yesterday. My apologies.
