As I thought
I was guessing the situation would be pretty much the same. Like I said, it's no big deal. If I ever get the urge to join in on the space western fun, I'll simply start my own Firefly campaign to be the envy of all others!

Good luck
The rules are very good Scarab if you want to pick them up. There are also some websites that have conversion to d20 for the game - in case you really prefer that system.

Wyatt...
I hadn't planned on Wyatt doing much of anything until the meeting other than inventory, running numbers, and trying to figure out what the best approach would be for getting the cargo off the ship in the most decent fashion (with Griff's safety in mind). If you folks want to chat with him; Wyatt'll likely be in the cargo hold until meeting.

Date Night
Burgers, Fries and a Fresh Salad -- 8 credits
2 Icecream Floats -- 2 credits
Afternoon Romp with Beaumonde Belle, Beth ----> Priceless... er, unless she's still planning on charging me...
Anyway, Asher hopes to take Beth out for a decent meal. (Burgers, Fries, Icecream Floats sounds 'bout right... just not Fast Food.)
After mid-day meal, Asher will take Beth back to the ship to... well... you know... down in his bunk.
I'll likely post later tonight or tomorrow

Mmm...
Space rat burgers and shoe string fries made from real shoe strings! Yummy!
I hope to be posting sometime today, as well... had some weather and connectivity issues here in the past couple of days so I'm playing "catch up"... if you decide to post before I get around to it, Al. Sam's probably gonna spend his time as metioned before - running Rocinante's control and nav systems thru their "diagnostics" and fine tuning where necessary... He'll also get with Kora to make sure that the foreward hull is suitably armored against any comet debris, etc, "an' make sure ain't nothin' hinkified with them fuel cells as Griff gived us"... Also, even though Roc is excluded from the search, Sam's liable to get right twitchy when the Fed's get to that point.

Bromern or Eol
Do either of you want to post about telling the rest of the crew about the job? Or do you want me to cover it? Or s it a secret? (Were there Monkeys Kaylee? Space Monkeys?)

Briefing?
Hadn't thought about it too much, to be honest. I kind of figured that Wyatt and Sam would mention the job to the rest of the crew but, beyond that...*shrugs*
I'm sure Sam'll at least spill some details to Kora if nothing else...
Kora: "Whaddya mean beef up the forward hull? What for?"
Sam: "Hey! If yer gonna get all crotchety about it, don't ruttin' do it! But when that first little chunk of comet dust pokes a hole in this boat and pokes out somebody's gorram eye, don' come belly-achin' ta me...."
Kora: "Yer a humpface, Dash!"
Sam: "y'know ya want me..."

But...but...but...
...it's so libertatin'!
FYI - Still having connectivity issues at home but, since I re-imaged last night and have got a backup restoring while I'm at work today, i hope to be "back in the saddle" by tonight.
Have several posts in the works... Rocinante among them.

to Blamm:
Hey, If Willow is gonna "make sure your room is presentable", you may want to let me know what general state it's in...otherwise I'll assume that it is much like any teenage boy's room, with discarded clothes everywhere and girlie mags under the bed If it's basically very tidy and the bed's so tight you can bounce a quarter off it, we'll have a hrad time believing ya! *LAUGHS*
So...post a brief description here and I'll take it from there.

Dodger and Crew
hey Gang!
Who is all going to the meeting with Dodger about your cargo? Need to know so I can move you along.
So you aren't going in blind. Dodger is a black gentlemen, very tall and resembles Bob Marley. He started out on the streets of Beaumonde as a street courier. He worked his way up in the underworld on a reputation of being reliable. He grew his own courier company, then branches out into other forms of goods transfer. His word is golden. There are very important and extremely dangerous people out there that trust him to move their goods. As such, few dare touch him because the ramifications are deadly. Dodger does not carry a gun or any other type of weapon, claiming it is against his religion but really he doesn't have to. He has two bodyguards with him at all times (Hack and Slash).
Dodger's weakness is the ladies.
So sound off so I can get us moving. I'd like to get you to the comet by the middle of next week.

Asher's room
Asher would keep his room fairly tidy, and rarely would leave his guns about (that's what the gun lockers are for). I'd guess that his bed was made, through a few stray clothes might be lying about and perhaps a couple boxes of bullets and maybe an emergency shotgun.
What I imagined Asher was really asking for was that Willow (being an Companion and all) would not just tidy up, but really "set the mood" in Asher's room. I don't want to say too much more than that though, 'cause I want you to surprise me.
I have gotten the sense from your posts that Willow is all into the extravagant and beautifying stuff, and Asher believes that Willow is "knows her stuff" when it comes to romance and love and sex and women. He's coming to her like she was a big sister, all wise and such in the ways of women, you get me?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to your (all of the crews)responses to when Asher "brings home" his date. I imagine Sam and Trish will have some things to say (well, maybe not Trish). Though, if Asher walks in with Trish and Sam says,"I'll be in my bunk..."
Thanks!
Blammm

Asher will not be going to the meet...
... I'll be in my bunk.
Unless the Captain thinks he needs his "public relations officer" with him.
