His mother?! XD
His mother XD that makes for awkward flirting. "You remind me of my mother oh how I loved her so." "Your mother was also an angry boozehounde of an orc with rage issues who swung a big axe?" "...yes..." "Damn, I need to meet this woman someday."
And I would like the spot where I NEED to be apparently XD.

I'll take lead
Unless someone really really wants it. With ranged attackers, Achuak is going to need to shoot first otherwise everyone will get into combat, give soft cover for his shot, or both. Considering you have to pretty much be right up close to find traps (or at least that's how I understand it) it would also benefit the group if Achuak found them traps before people exploded, plummet, get hung, or drown.
Just a thought though...

*makes post* *discovers that there is a new page my browser didn't update to*
*deletes post*
Alright, let's try this again. Before he disappeared for the day, Shades mentioned something about a surprise round. Since everyone who isn't Achuak needs a light to fight by, the only way the mites would be surprised is if Achuak went in alone and hoped that they didn't catch on the second time they scented him.
Thus, I'm just going to run this by the (new, if no one objects) Marching Order. Achuak in front, and Sordin gets moved to the back. Our rear guard can't actually see anything behind him, but at least has range and if caught by surprise has the best chance of surviving.
That said, the room is like 15x15, and there are two mites. I'll be surprised if more than half of you even get a chance to attack them.

Trick shots and predictions.
I've decided I'm going to randomly pitch magic missles for trick shots because auto hit, and Owen has predicted I'll be the death of us all at some point XD

Oh yeah
Just remembered. There is no light in the area. You can't hit anything until either Takahashi brings you the light, or Aria makes more.
Thus the simple solution is pretend that You delayed until Takahashi moved close enough, then you shot when the light showed up. The mite is just barely within 'normal illumination' still.

Knowledge Checks
Achuak knows that all vermin (unless otherwise specified) share the following common traits: They are Mindless and have Darkvision.
More specific to giant centipedes he knows that their bite attacks are poisonous, they cannot be tripped, and they are can be stealthy.
More importantly, though, than whatever the centipedes are capable of, Achuak knows already the the mite's senses excel in the dark in every way, as evidenced by the fact that they squint in even the lowest levels of light and there are absolutely no lights in the warren besides those at Aria's command and Sordin's lantern.

Ah, hehehe
I feel it may be prudent to note that his friends are the three kobold corpses hanging along the wall. You have found them. *little celebratory noise*

Need to be clear:
Achuak is continuing down the way we are on. He is not climbing up the rooted shaft.

Chism? Wait, no...
As a heads up for Achuak, in order to proceed he needs to cross the chasm (of yet unknown depth). There are two ways, using the vines hanging from the ceiling and walls, or leaping.
You can see from the map the chasm is about 10 feet across, but positioning makes the gap 15 feet wide from ledge to ledge.
Alternatively, having updated the map now, you can perhaps try to shoot at the mites in the next room? It's a maybe.

KINGMAKER Q&A 2.0 BEGINS HERE
Welp, in preparation to use this whole dang Q&A for a completely different Kingmaker party and adventure, the postings start here. You hear that? Just everybody remember Page 13 is the first one now, eh?
Not likely, generally individual pages of the Q&A are not that important except for the most recent, and all that sweet awesome information I (am currently updating) on the Page 1 way back there.
Have fun, kiddies.

The Spilling of Rodrick's Guts
SO here is the lil monologue Rodrick would have given to you either at at campfire or while you were all riding to the fort.
“Since we got some time before we be gettin’ to our destination – and since we will more likely than not be traveling with each other after that – I see no reason why I shouldn’t share my story with ye. I be comin’ from the mountains just beyond the Gronzi Forest, where my clan worked both above and below the surface. We were a young clan, five generations old: but our industrious hearts had us carved a grand hall and mighty forge. We were Clan Redbrew, and we were as hardy as a dwarven clan could get.
In the time we had started settling the lands that would be our territory, a great band of goblins started to arise. We pushed them back, but the lil’ bastards continued to harass us throughout the centuries. We were at war with something that could not be whipped out – a fungus that kept on coming up between our toes. But our walls were thick, our axes sharp, and our spirits steadfast. We never faltered, and never gave them an inch of our new found home. We even befriended a small Halfling village, and together we secured a trading route for the North Eastern boarders of Brevoy.
And where was I in all this? I was among my king’s honor guard. Proud was I to bear a shield for my king, and at the ready was I at all times to exchange my life for his. But I was asked to go out on a routine patrol on the trading route one day. I obliged, but heard that a Halfling ambassador had arrived to speak of business with our king. Regrettably, I paid no heed.
When we arrived at the Halfling settlement for a quick restock, I exchanged words with some of the village folk. I spoke of their ambassador, asking what business he were to be bringing up. They said that they had sent no such person.
Alarmed, I took flight with me men back to our clan’s residence. The goblins were already inside the walls though. The king was dead, and the walls had been opened: apparently one of them green skinned pieces of dung managed to be born with a brain, and learned to hide his damnable kin’s accent and slang. He used magic to disguise himself and, like the coward he was, assassinated our king with some sort of strong poison before opening the walls for his kin to enter.
A great battle was done that day. But alas, I only partook in part of it. For the first time in four hundred years our spirits faltered, and I was out of focus. I lost my balance and fell from the walls, the brush below broke my fall, but I was left unconscious for a long while.
When I came to, the lil’ s***s were gone, but the entirety of my clan’s residence was on fire. Every last dwarf was dead. I fell to my knees and wept. No songs would ever be sung in the halls, never again would weapons or armor be forged by our anvils and fires, and in a few short decades, no one will ever remember Clan Redbrew.
I am old. I am tired. I long for rest and to be with my fathers in the next life. But since no songs shall be sung of me, I wish to go in the way of the warrior. I wish to die felling the foes of civilization and the allies of tyranny. I wish to die knowing that it was doing what I do best: protectin’. And so I am here, going to a forest inhabited by rabid animals, bandits, and gods know what else. But I go with hope: hope to help the humans of the nation of Brevoy, and to have one last good fight before going to sleep.”

Four humans and a dwarf walk into a border fort trading post
Yes, the other four (to date) are all humans. Two are Taldans from Rostland (once long ago a colony of Taldor), one a Varisian from Ustalav (where Varisians are common especially among the noble), and one Chelaxian from the River Kingdoms. Basically a bunch of white guys and girls, and a maybe-albino.
