Don't let that stop you!
You can still have a post up, Tann. I won't complain.

So, a couple more questions....
One, can Blossom hack the train from inside the train and stir up some trouble?
Two, how can Blossom hack into the tracks or signage? Where would she need to be to do that?
Three, are the locks on the maintenance tunnels likely electronic or mechanical... or do we need to go inspect them first?
Fourth, how much security and surveillance is there on the train?
Five, if we wanted to ask Starlight for some paperwork for the weapons, would that be done electronically?
Sorry that I'm having such a hard time with this... netrunning/wardriving is harder than I thought. :-/

Feel free to ask away...
No need to apologize for your questions. 'Punk's rulebooks leave a lot to interpretation anyway, so I completely understand the need for clarification.
One, can Blossom hack the train from inside the train and stir up some trouble?
A. Yes. There's the easy way and the hard way. The easy way is to find the datapoint and plug in. This would most likely be in the engineer's cabin, and since the train runs in both directions, there's an engineer's cabin on either end. Unfortunately, the cabin will likely be locked (electronically) for the engineer's safety, and each train has the equivelant of a couple of "Air Marshals" riding the line at any given time so you'll need to figure out how to deal with three issues before accessing the datapoint: 1. The presence of security guards somewhere on the train; 2. The electronic locks protecting the engineer's cabin; 3. The engineer (if you choose to try the occupied cabin).
The harder option is to locate the datalines that run through the cars, pop a panel (again, without alerting security), and wire yourself into the line using an electronics skill check.
Two, how can Blossom hack into the tracks or signage? Where would she need to be to do that?
A. This would require locating a dataline at the station, using an electronics skill check to hack that line, and then wardriving to by-pass the software security in the system. There's a chance that such a box exists within the general population area of the station (the pillared area next to the tracks).
Three, are the locks on the maintenance tunnels likely electronic or mechanical... or do we need to go inspect them first?
A. With such an important feature for the public as transportation and the threat of terrorist activity prevalent, you can bet that it's a combination electronic lock followed up by a mechanical lock.
Fourth, how much security and surveillance is there on the train?
A. Surveillance consists of standard monitoring cameras in each car (2 to be precise - one at the front and one at the rear). The aforementioned security guards would likely have access to the cameras on their agents, and depending on where they are on the train in relation to a disturbance, they could reach the situation in anywhere from 30 seconds to 4 minutes. In any system that runs software, there is software security that a netrunner would have to deal with.
Five, if we wanted to ask Starlight for some paperwork for the weapons, would that be done electronically?
A. Yes. All passes are electronic and ran off of the agent. The way that the rules work is that a forgery has a percent chance of working depending on the fixer's Streetdeal roll. The higher the roll, the better the forgery. That's the way it is listed in the manual anyway. I personally believe that those rules were made for a much less sophisticated technological setting. Where modern day tech has almost surpassed that in the rulebooks on nearly every front, I'm adjusting the rules to state that the fixer's Streetdeal check is directly related to the time it will take to accomplish the task, and a separate series of checks will be made for the creation of the false documents. You can bet that with a really, really good Streetdeal roll, you're still looking at a delivery time of at least an hour.
Now, if you're going to post soon, Ayrn or Giddy, you can include the following suggestions from the NPCs:
Ghlahn: "Well, it's obvious to me that the lot of you aren't at the level I am where sneaking about is concerned, so this is what I'd do were I all alone. Seek high ground. That's the sniper's mantra. When the train stops, we'll have what? Two minutes before it starts moving again? If we want to get past the gates, let's get on top of the train and hotfoot it up-line until we can jump to the maintenance walk. That is if you ladies think you're up for it."
Echo: "Two minutes to get on the roof of the train and then crawl to a place where we can get past the gate? Are you nuts as well as being an ass?
"Look, I've seen the tunnels these trains run through and they're tight. If our timing is a little bit off, we'll be wiped off the train within moments of it moving again."
"Well then," Ghlahn sneers. "What other ideas do you got, princess?"
"Ya!" Echo falls silent for a moment while she glares at the sniper. "Start a fire in one of the garbage cans on the opposite side of the station that draws everyone's attention. Maybe even knock the can over. A fire in a can won't put anyone in any immediate danger, but it'll buy Blossom time to by-pass the lock so we can get into the maintenance tunnel."

Site problems.
I've experienced site problems this morning during the time I've set aside for posting so I wasn't able to get the post in. I'll do so when I have time, but what this does is afford you more time to get posts in place if you haven't already.

Hello quiet people...
So, I've moved the game forward a bit.
Fixer received 1 IP in Awareness/Notice. He had an awesome roll that will definitely help should things come to a firefight.
Otherwise, things are as they are left. I did withhold some of the interactions that were posted based on timeline. That's not to say they won't happen, but it does give you all an opportunity to adjust as needed to the events that are taking place.

Slight Modification
Okay Brom
1. Vegas finishes song
2. Vegas checks on Chela and asks her if there is anyone else who frequents the Rat Pack who may know where to track down Dog and his Crew
3. Vegas returns to the table to check with Fixer (still quite aware that the delivery of the Taser and Grenades must be completed before leaving the Rat Pack)

Awareness
Okay, so trying to find out exactly what I picked up, and I guess that would now include the figure closing me off. He may or may not turn into a threat if things go bad. And question, who's smg is currently in my hands? mine or casino's?

Got it, Hammer.
Fixer has his own SMG in hand. He checked the chambered round on his if I read your last post correctly.

Yes.
Yes, that is what I had in mind. You said something about an awareness result but did nos see notice of anything in particular in the posts about it, or is it not relevant yet?

Security Scanner
Okay, trying to use this feature of my agent. I don't know if it will let me use it to find perhaps cameras. THinking perhaps patching in and pulling up recorded video. Dunno if this would be out of reach or not. Just an idea that hit me.

Not always daisies and butterflies...
Good morning Night City Integrate! We hope you can breathe despite all of this pollution and trust that you aren't one of those poor S.O.B.s with a toe tag adding to the body count (which so far today is already in the double-digits)! Stick around, because Dead Serious has some great follow-up stories on that I-5 pile up caused by those crazy kids in the Smash Brothers and Rage Rollers gangs. Corina Bella has some insight into the financial woes of Pellar and Devlow, and I've got plenty of music coming your way after these messages from our sponsors! This is Wacky Moses on KJRP with your early morning, insomniac loving agent-cast show, The Ten Commandments coming at you live!

Hammer, Tann, and Vesper, you guys are left with some decisions to make as to how you're going to proceed. Vesper, I like your thinking outside of the box a bit, but unfortunately, that's not the way an Agent functions. The security scanner detects security systems, listening devices, and tracking devices with a percentage accuracy (yours is the highest percentage due to the luxury brand) in a 100 meter radius. Without a netrunner, you can't hack into any of the systems.
Ayrn and Giddy (and hopefully Aletheia and Keeper of Dragons), I've given Ayrn some instructions via PM, so watch for his post and them make yours.
I look forward to seeing what you gatos have up your sleeves.
