Hmmm...
I am waiting at the steps for now. As posted. Somehow I think people would be less inclined to move in and out of the courthouse after that spectacle.

I'm waiting...
Pio's response will really depend on the crowd...
If Percy and co, get into trouble along the way, in particular with the law, Pio will continue to hang back.
If they enter into the courthouse unscathed, then Pio will move to follow in after them, though he'll pass through the crowd in a different, and more subtle, way (hopefully).

lol
You are evil, Almerin... well... not really... I actually thought this might be the outcome of Percy's actions. (someone getting hurt or dying)
>>sigh<<
Well, fear not, good folks. Pio will attempt to bail all yer arses out of jail when the time comes.
Pio will remain firmly planted where he is. Though his urge is to leap into the crowd and rescue Percy, two things hold him back. 1) Fighting peasants is pretty dishonourable in his eyes. 2) It is futile to try fighting the guards... they will simple overwhelm the party and send them all off to jail.
Sorry, Almerin... if this means our party is breaking up.

that's terrible... :(
I should note, she was only going to push and shove her way to the front of the crowd. It was Pio's remark that set her off.
- As I said, Sorry Ayrn.

Aww, guy... it's cool.
Nah, man. No need to apologize.
I think this will be a neat step in our character development... depending on how y'all respond to the guards and such. (the development might be real short if you try to resist.)
I'm going to love reading about how Percy deals with the unintention death of a child due to her actions. It has the potential to be an intense, gripping story.
It's all good, man! All good! Keep up the great posts.

evil?
hehe... I'm not more evil then somebody sending a fullgrown horse into a crowd of people .
But really, if I wanted the group to split up, or characters to be removed from the game, I would've had the guards arrest Percy and however else in my update.
this is simply a rather difficult encounter, and something that you'll have to deal with if you have CN characters in your game. Sometimes their rashness goes the good way, in this case it goes bad.
But I must say that I am pleased with what is happening, and I like all the characters in play and how they act. Like Ayrn said: good characer development and interaction is part of our fun in roleplaying. I didn't mean to scare people off, and so I'm going to add here that things may not be as bad as they seem.
In any case, I'm just curious to see how things are going to develop from here.

BTW
I'm waiting on the others to post before I post my action. Almerin, you may even update prior to me posting, as like I said, Pio will wait and watch from the edge of the crowd to see what becomes of this mess.

Not really
Me... I'm working until thursday... so these are usually my blackout days. Other than that, I am trying to decide what Llammoth would do in good conscience. On the one hand she feels that justice is corrupt, so wouldn't really care about the law being on your case all that much, but on the other hand, you just killed a child.

lol.. upset?! nah...
Seriously, Sui... that SO did not upset me.
Made me laugh. A LOT... and out loud. But did not bring up any feelings of anger.
Percy is... interesting, to say the least. In Pio's estimation, while he's attracted to her beauty and untamability... he also finds her moody, immature and a bit of a loose cannon.
Me, as a player... I thought your post was interesting to read and your decided actions for Percy were pleasantly unexpected. (as was you choice to conjure up a horse to cut your way through the crowd.)
Do I think it was the wisest choice in completing our game's "mission" (to save the orphanage)? Nope. But I don't always care about that too much. I did think it was cool for character development.
As far as Percy's action to try to point out Pio in the crowd... we'll see how the DM responds. Pio won't make any motion of recognition at Percy's claims. Nor will he try to walk away... he'll simply ignore her.
I'm a bit under the weather right now... so my creative juices are not really flowing (my nose is, however).
Anyway, feel free to update, Almerin, without a post from me, to keep things going. Like I said, Pio's still clinging around at the edge of the crowd.
