last five topics...
By the way, if you did not know, you can hover your mouse over the colored dot next to the topic name to see the full topic name, as well as who posted to it last.

Alas
That functionality is not available on Firefox 2.0.0.8 on Mac. Nor is the funky list "unscramble" effect.

huh?
That's odd... all I'm using is the standard HTML ALT tage for the image in question.
Funky list whatzit?

TITLE, not ALT
Actually, ALT is for images that can't be displayed due to user agent limitations. TITLE is for mouseover descriptions of images that are visible. So, even though providing both can be tedious, Firefox is correct, standards-wise, as far as I know.

You can now use the mouseover feature to see who posted to those last five topics. Thanks to Scarab for enlightening me!

Another tip
If you want to learn yet another thing today, here's another tip: the title attribute isn't limited to images; you can use it on pretty much any element, so an even better solution would be to apply the full topic name and post author to the text link instead of the image (or you could apply it to both).

Old Dogs
So who say Ol' Dogs can't learn new tricks. And Me too because I am probably the second oldest Dog in RDINN, 8 minutes after my sister.

Yea
On a FF on PC right now, trivial issue but the special effects of the menu (the Res. Low->high effect) does not work. I don't care, but maybe Scarab can teach you more about that. o.O!

Emoticons
Pretty sure that emote character links do not work in FF either (I see _ characters between each little icon).
Now maybe you could tag them so when you float over you can see the in text version.

The menu
Even if I could help with the menu, I wouldn't. Animation on the web is sooo '90s...
In other words: Nope, I don't know how to fix that.
It's also true that smileys don't work in Firefox. A quick glance at the error console tells me that " messagebody is not defined". No idea off-hand how to fix that, though, and debugging JavaScript isn't my idea of a good time, so I'll leave that for Olan to fix if he feels like it.

yea, I dunno either. I might have to learn JavaScript at some point, but I think the language I'll mostly be using is LATEC or Perl.

Handy
You know what would be really handy?
If I could somehow select the PMs I want to delete from a list and delete them all at once. My mailbox is piling up to nearly 100 messages and I'm not really looking forward to clicking on the "delete" thing 95 times.
Sooo... yeah. It would be handy I think.
