"Thank you for your support Riva, as for you Welbry. I will answer you with a question. How good it your night vision? I have put you where I think you are best suited."
OOC: NPC route is just the name of the route, I can not be bothered to change the name of the route and so it is stuck like that.

"But i was given an option on what time and route i want to do so i choose and now i can't do that just because i am smaller then all of you." Welbry is getting angry that he is given an option than it being taken away from him because he is small.

Selaro realised that this halfling was more headstrong then she had thought and resolved to explain her reasoning in it's entirety, something she is not use to doing.
"Before you further judge me and my opinion let me explain further. I put Ariellyn on route her route (Route 1) because I understand her to be a capable ranged and probably capable with a sword, she also has good night vision as she has told me and I know that elves can meditate instead of sleeping, she could also possess better eye sight then you Welbry. I have put myself and Riva on our route (Route 2) because I know myself to be a good combatant and I think Riva to be a good combatant, we are on the day time and night shifts but they are interchangeable as we wish. You and Grush are on your route (NPC Route) because Grush is most familiar with that route and because it is inside town where you can keep your presence felt as I believe that you were a hit with the population in The Rusty Dragon this morning. We are relying on you to quash any goblin group that might slip past Ariellyn. I do not want to move you onto Ariellyn's route because I believe it to not be in our best interests as that would mean that there is not time of the day when we can not meet, in fact I need to change it so Ariellyn is doing the night shift instead of the morning shift." She hoped this would be enough.

Selaro then pulls the piece of papper towards here and makes the following corections.



And explains
"This'll let us talk in the mornings, the day shift starts at 10 so we have until then to talk."

"Now that you have explained it i know why i am doing that time slot, i think it is clever that you have put us in places that are to are strengths. And also that we can talk in the morning about a battle plan. And i am sorry that i made a argument about it.

" Well it seems like a well thought out plan i will protect the town from any rouges or footpads shall they arise but my talents are being squandered. You see how i handled the goblin commander a few nights ago to underestimate me or think me weak is an extreme mistake. Nonetheless I shall not argue." Taden pulled his spell book from the pack and began reading it for the sake of boredom.

She'd been so intent upon the maps and plans that she had completely lost track of time. taking a spare sheet of parchment from the table, she traced her own route so that she could memorize it better later, though she knew the lay of the land.

"anyone care to venture out into the woods with me before we start our shifts?"

Ariellyn had a good memory but wold not trust that alone takeng a hint from Riva's actions she too took a sheet of parchament and drew all three routes down noted names of streets and other land marks.

"I am cgoing to go out this morning and walk my route to get and idea of what it is like. I will be ready for my day shift on time and will meet whomever I am going to join up with at that time."

"That isn't my opinion of you Taden, we need someone based here with Myra incase they are needed but if you would rather take a route then I shall swap with you, or you could take Grush's route around town and he could stay here as support." She spoke soon after Taden had voiced his opinion and cut into what Riva was saying causing her to restart, perhaps she was urgent for a second reason though, appart from appolgy.

After Riva had spoken Selaro responded with an offer to go with her, though she knew it unwise to go with an unknown companion she knew it a good idea to scout out the woods.
"I think I will help you scout out the woods Riva, we can gain some important knolage of our surrounding." She finnished in mid sentance at the look on Ariellyn's face but didn't retract what she said. She had definitly gained some confidence since the goblin attack.

"Riva i will come with you it to the woods i would like to explore hear and with someone else."

No thats quite alright i was just saying that make sure to utilize everyones talents you and Grush personally are better suited to do that than I at my current Strength when i gain more power i suppose i would be a better watchmen. With that Taden pulled up his hood and walked slowly towards the door. "Well I'm off to make sure no one makes trouble." After that he opened the door walked out and shut it firmly behind him.

She gathered her thoughts and nodded, her hand on the hilt of her sword.

"Well then, let us take some time to explore. It will give us sometihng to do until our shifts begin."

Yet it occured to her that some of her companions might not be so comfortable goign into unfamiliar terrirtory with a stranger and she paused at the door, turning to her party members. Strands of long cinamon highlights swayed lightly in the pale breeze, and for a momwnt she stared into the faces of each of them, memorizinf them in case anything happened. She recorded every line, every crease, every shadow and curve, and smiled.

"It's okay, I don't bite."

With the meeting coming to what seemed a natural end, thought knew that Taden's leaving was her fault she stood up and made her way to the door, just before going through it she turned and said the reminder of the group.
"I'll see you tomorrow morning, none of us are on duty then so if there and if anything worth wile discussing or bring up that the exploration of the woods we can talk about it here, if not then I don't see any need."
Turning back to Riva she said,
"Before we go I need to attend to something in town. A man gave me this necklace" she indicates to the one she is wearing
and I need to go to cathedral so I can find out what it's properties are. I'll meet you at the gate." And she proceeds out the door and down to the cathedral, hoping someone there would be able to tell her the enchantment on her necklace.

Welbry is wondering how long Selaro will be in town.
