I saw this morning that Tim Burton will be making Alice In Wonderland. Johnny Depp will be the MadHatter.
Also, Depp will be playing Barnabas Collins in the Tim Burton version of Dark Shadows

Vamping out in the Twilight Zone
Last night, I saw the advanced screening of Twilight movie. This was a gift to my daughter (age 12) and god-daughter (age 14) – I had no real interest in the movie and I have not read the books. Discovery of the night - the "who is cuter" conversation can apparently go on for hours and hours, it can even reset itself back to the beginning.
That being said, I would have to say that I enjoyed the movie. It is a romantic story aimed at teenage girls and it does that very well. But it was a good re-telling of the classic tragic love story with some modern twists to it to keep it interesting. Never was I bored or wishing I could leave, it was an overall good film.
I found the cinematography in the film was excellent. As well, the director used slow motion effectively in places and was particularly good at places two scene together in juxtaposition.
If you are in the target market or a fan of the books – go see it. My girls absolutely loved it and were giddy all the way home. According to them, it is pretty faithful to the book and not an “Eragon” style of book to movie. Yes, some scenes are slightly different and the lines are changed but overall it follows the essential parts of the book. If you are a parent looking at having to go for your daughter, relax and enjoy the flick. It isn’t Lost Boys, but it sparkles well in the light.
