I've added a mini update to the game thread. It's not an official update though, that won't come until tomorrow. This is just the Rodian responding to Arrune's question. So no XP just yet

Seeing as how I have an exam tomorrow that needs studying for, and there seems to be no progress with getting the ship out of here, I'm going to wait with the update until later tonight. If you're still not out of there by then, you're going to have some trouble

Congrats, everyone, you have just entered hyperspace and finished the first chapter of the game! Extra XP for that accomplishment

In celebrating that event, I won't be updating again until next Wednesday. Until then, feel free to do things off-stage or converse IC, either with each other or with the NPCs you picked up earlier. Although I won't be doing a real, official update, I will answer any questions you might ask the NPCs.

The hyperjump takes 10 days from where you are, so you won't actually arrive until on Wednesday's update. It doesn't actually matter that much except for roleplaying-wise, but I thought you should know anyway.

So, yeah, feel free to roleplay a bit while in the hyperjump, and I'll be giving you roleplay XP next update

EDIT: Don't forget to include everything you want to get done during the hyperjump. There's no turning back the clock to do things you forgot later.

I have to tell you that I'm kinda disappointed. I thought that if I would give you a week I would have at least one post from each of you, probably more from certain players. I thought it would get you to try to know each other and the NPCs in character. I also thought you would post in character things that you were going to do during the downtime, and I know some of you were going to do something specific and you didn't post about it so it technically shouldn't have been done. I mean, you had a week, and I know that most of you were online at least once and some of you more often than that.

Like I said, a bit disappointed. Anyway, the game will move on.

For some reason I thought I had until next Wednesday. I read over your past posts to see where I would have got that, but you clear said this Wednesday (today). So I don't know what happened there. No excuse here. Sorry.

I should have been a bit quicker with my responses to Kate

If we can just pause the game for a moment I am answering Kate's questions here.

Arrune is also checking over all the equipment (including that of the droids and mandalorians) to see what she can do. Once I know that I will offer to the others what I can do.

IC:
Looking straight at Kate she gave the honest answer.

"I knew what work you did, I took that scan of your chassis because if you got downed but your brain survived then I could build a second body. The scan of your brain is an old one, I take them whenever I do work on a droid in case anything goes wrong."
Having come clean with this she starts laying out all the equipment for the ship they had escaped from on the deck and proceeded to strip the mandalorian of his equipment and examining the combat droid for locked access and any ways to shut it down externally.

I've deleted and reposted your arrival to Ord Mantell. I will need to know if you're looking for anything else in the droid or on the Mandalorian other than the normal loot or the turn off button. I will add a loot list before the next update and include anything you might find (assuming you're looking for something more).

Arrune will do as through search as she can and retrieve any items she may be able to.

Oh, and so a dead body doesn't stink up the place once she's taking everything off the mandalorian she'll suggest that the jetison it as soon as they can.

Mandalorian has the following stuff:

Mandalorian combat suit with targeting scope, jetpack, and knife-gauntlet upgrades (the jetpack is ruined, though, and not usable for anything but parts);
heavy blaster pistol;
mace;
combat gloves;
and a fieldkit with medpac

The combat droid had the following stuff:

Systems:
basic processor (ruined);
walking locomotion;
3 tool mounts;
2 clawed appendages.

Possessions:
2 blaster rifles;
flamethrower (built into the droid and not usable by others unless new casing and trigger were built);
duranium plating (the droid's case);
shield generator (needs to be recharged).

Additionally, the following loot came from the other Mandalorian and the other droid:
heavy blaster pistol;
2 blaster rifles;
mace;
combat gloves;
and a fieldkit with medpac

The corpse would have been ejected from the ship after you got out of hyperspace, so it is probably orbitin Ord Mantell right about now

I've added some dialogue to the update. It should give you a bit clearer idea of what the embassador thinks of the situation.

Thank you very much, I will get tinkering but my first jobs will be recharging that shield and using the blaster rifle casings to house the flame thrower.

Might want to deal with the current situation first, before starting to work on something. Just saying it would be odd if you'd be putting together weapons while the military is searching the ship

Some time over the hyperspace journey my character, Arrune in case you've forgotten somehow, will have told you how to deactivate the combat droids after examining them for locked access (if you could please confirm this Skari-dono)

She has also use the combat droids flamethrower and combined it with the casing and trigger from a blaster rifle so that it can be used, you can fight among yourselves but she will most likely give it to the wookiee as he scares her and can provably make best use of it.

She's also stripped the broken jetpack from the mandalorian combat suit and has offered to re-fit it for any member of the party on the basis that she didn't pay for it so why should you, but you still owe her in her books if you want it.

Skari-dono has also given me permission to recharge the combat droid's shield generator and install it Arrune's speeder, although as it's being put on a larger object it's power is reduced.

Arrune can also approach you offering to take a go at upgrading a few weapons with an:
Extra Power Source
Double Trigger
Overload Switch
Pulse Charger
Sniper Switch or
Targeting Scope (only one can be made because it needs to be striped from the mandalorian armor)
depending on the kindness of Skari-dono.

Any leftover weapon parts she'll put away to use in the future for some use or another. If you want to trust my character then just post up here and include it in your next in game thread so that I know to include that I've done it in my next game thread.

Hate to be the one to burst your bubble but there is only so much I will allow after the deadline I gave you for posting things that took place during the downtime.

Free actions I don't mind so much, so the rest of the group knows how to deactivate the droids (via grapple and deactivation thingy), but the whole dismantling and upgrading of stuff will not have been done during your 10 days downtime in hyperspace.

I gave you a deadline of Wednesday (yesterday) to post anything you wanted done during the downtime. I also warned you that I would not allow later planned events to have taken place during that downtime. These plans of yours, although I have allowed them, will not have taken place during the hyperjump.

You will need to make these upgrades and tinkerings later in the game. Sorry.
