Sorry guys...
It was my son's birthday yesterday, and we're celebrating today. I know I'm being dodgy with my own deadlines... Sorry! Bonus XP for all of you!
I'll have something up for tonight for sure.

Combat
So how does combat work in this game...
Do I just post up my characters actions and Aryn puts all our actions into initiative order or do we have to post in initiative order?
I think I should log my characters actions, before I make my post in the RP thread, so here they are:
Move forward 4, shoot ST#2, move 2 down. No swift action taken.
He's making use of his Running Attack feat.

I would think...
That you just post your actions, unless you need input from someone else first, in which case it'd be a good idea to ask. There's no real reason to post initiative order, since that can potentially slow the game down with people waiting on other people if they have time to post.

I hate initiative...
Well, I don't hate it... I just don't like how everyone rolls for initiative, sees where they end up in the order, and make their plans from there.
For me, just post IC what your character would like to do. And add a OOC with the "rules" info, like you did above, Loki.
I also decide before I roll all the tactics for the bad dudes. Then I roll initiative for all and make the combat happen in the right sequence.

Question
Is the door to the operations room open as far as we can see, and if it isn't, does it look like there's another way in? (like a hopefully glass window)

Just asking
Why do you still need to get into the control room? The pannel is next to the door behind us.

More than one reason
While it's true that there is a panel behind us, we can't take it for granted; there may be overriding controls in the operations room.
In addition, the operations room may have other controls we may need to get at either now or later... the hangar doors/barrier (between 'inside' and 'outside' space) for one thing, whether it's closing them to prevent the shuttle from simply leaving and going to a different hangar, or opening them for our escape.
Finally, the operations room would provide a fair bit of cover, and I wouldn't think they'd risk blasting the controls with the sled's cannon.
For the same reason, that's why I want to get into the operations room as well, so a trooper doesn't get the idea to blast the controls after sealing off the hangar bay and trapping us. Karra has claws, so she could easily drop her gun after going in to avoid shooting the controls as well.
At least, that's my line of thinking...

So since Loki is carrying Karra's bags (and now Ara's shoulder bag), does that mean he's the one with the stun grenades?
If so, they could be useful here.

Bags... I'm assuming that your bag would have been returned to you.
But yer, it kind of changes the plan, if it turns out that Hako'ib has it then I will need to change my post, if I'm allowed.

My assumption
I had assumed that Karra still had Ara's bag. And that she had ONLY given the medical backpack to Hako'ib.
It matters little to me if you'd like to change that, though I'd say it's Reralae's call.
Reralae: If you could let us know by tomorrow for sure, that would be awesome.
Loki: If it's turned out that she's given the bag to Hako'ib, you may edit your post... so long as it's done by Saturday night.
Thanks all!
Ayrn

A couple of other somewhat game related items...
First, let me say this has turned out to be a really great DMing experience for me! Thanks for contributing to that! I really appreciate your time and energy invested in this story!
Second, my wife has contracted "shingles". It's like an localized form of the chicken pox. It's decided to locate itself around her right eye. Needless to say this is quite painful for her. This means, in addition to my work schedule, I'm also filling in at home, which is a super busy place as well. I may have to drop down to 1 post a week for then next two weeks. We'll see... I'll keep you up-to-date.
Third, I'm not sure if I mentionedit elsewhere, but my wife and I are expecting our 6th child in early-mid January. Without a doubt, this means that I will be putting this game on hold come the new year, at least until after Easter.
My question is this: When/if you finish this chapter of the story (which will likely take us until the end of October), would you like to get into the next chapter, even though we won't be getting very far into the storyline (I doubt we'll even finish the first scene), or should we "call it a good day" after this chapter and start fresh in April/May? My gut feeling is the latter (start fresh), but I'm interested in your input.
Thanks!
Ayrn.
